Can we change Nocturne's (or rather, all of them) spell shield

I don't think spell shields should block DoT abilities. It's waste. I see an Morgana snare coming towards me and go to shield it -nope, instead I block a millisecond of damage from her pool she places under me just before the snare hits.- It's especially annoying in some cases where you block a tick of things like Malzahar E where you block one tick, equal to about 5% of its damage and the ability stays on you.

If anything, at least remove the DoT from the champion (or make the area on ground no longer apply damage or something). I don't see why I can use Noc shield to remove Zed ult before it pops but I can't remove Malzahar's E.

A simple fix for this would be to just not have DoT abilities affect spellshields, because it's extremely easy to just throw a Morgana pool or Anivia ult under them or hit them with Brand or Malzahar E. (Although, if the single target DoT like Brand or Malz isn't already on you, you avoid all the damage, however if is already there when you cast a spell shield, you still lose the shield and block almost nothing.

if dot is being cast while spellshield is up dot gets partialy or entirely blocked if you activate spell shield when dot is already damaging you then spellshield doesnt give a fk

Not sure about Morgana (and other ground based dots), but I am fairly certain that if you will block Malz E, R, Swain E, Q etc. it will block the whole spell, not just a tick.

And I think that the ground based dots just don't interact with spellshields at all, but I am not sure.

spellshields do not interact with dots/debuffs you already recived nor with aoe-dots. They block malz E(or simiar skills) the moment they are cast upon you, which block the entire dot, not only a single tick
