You should have to play 30-40 ranked games SOLO before you can duo with someone in Solo/Duo queue

I just had 2 fresh level 30s duoing together on my team. Needless to say we got destroyed. I do not mind 1 newcomer, but 2 of them in a duo? That is just beyond bad news. They were not smurfs either. I have nothing against people being new to the ranked scene. But before you go and screw over a team by duoing with another fresh level 30 player, should have to play a few ranked games to acclimate to the environment. Ranked is different than Normals. It is competitive and you are expected to have a decent level of competence in your role, in a ranked environment. This way you can establish a general skill level that the game can more accurately judge than just the 10 prelims you have to start with (which should also be solo only). 30-40 solo games would allow you to try out a few champions, and all of the roles if you want to, to see how good you are and what you need to improve upon to be able to win in ranked. Being carried by a duo (or in this case held down) significantly effects your own skill level because you get an "inflated" idea of your own talents.
