With the Jhin release Caitlyn is going to need some serious changes/buffs

Like, what is the point of even playing this champion anymore?

The new champ looks like a sniper way more than the ''sniper'' adc, like she might aswell not exist anymore as shes also very weak atm, i mean just compare both ults, jhin has basically 4 cailtyn ults.

His whole kit is just themed much better, jhin w has more range than caitlyns whole kit other than rank 2~3 ult.

Why wasant caitlyn ult changed into something cool/powerful with the rework?The spell is so bland and useless, now imagine caitlyn with jhin ult for example, it would a very nice change and would fit really well, but instead of properly updating her they just nerfed her and then released caitlyn v2 and called it a day.

we're gonna have to see how it pans out but I think yeah she is going to need buffs to make her gameplay patteren more unique. "oh but her ult is garenteed" and "longer base range" is not reason enough".

Jihns W is a arguably better Caitlyn Q

The final bullet on his passive will likely end up doing more damage than Caitlyn s Headshot

Jihns Traps are actually INVISIBLE unlike Caitlyns

Jihns R while not garenteed damage will most likely have 100% more utility and uses not to mention will scale much harder

Im suprised riot shipped such a similair champ as if it wasnt bad enough that she's getting constantly outranged

What I don't get is where these ideas were when the Caitlyn nerfdate was happening.

Champion designs and updates happen in terms of months. Presumably either the update and new champion teams never talk to each other, or at some point someone said "no Caitlyn doesn't need to use any of these new sniper ideas"

Even more glaring is that no one apparently asked "why does this guy have an almost exact copy of Caitlyns kit?"

Even though Jhin has range and all, we still need to wait and see how how he really plays, his builds, stats, and how reliable he actually is once released before a proper judgement is made.

I'm still amazed, a certainlyT creation turned out underpowered. Mordekaiser got buffed to top tier, a viable pick. Albeit, the community nerfed him back to where he was, but still had his time in the spotlight. Instead, Caitlyns entire kit got gimped to make room for the new passive, and easier trap use. Honestly, it probably would've been fine, if they didn't nerf the traps as well.
