Yasuo isnt as OP as people make him out to be.

first off i would like to say this.. i am NOT a Yasuo main... i don't even OWN yasuo. i have tried him a few times during his free week yes.. but mostly i have had TONS of games FACING him.

what are the most common complaints about yasuo? first off, his wind wall.. YES his wind wall in INCREDIBLY strong. but it also has a VERY high cooldown. 26 / 24 / 22 / 20 / 18 even if you spam all your spells and he blocked ALL of them.. with the windwall. as long as u disenage.. your spells will be up before his windwall is back up... 2nd he is manaless, yes is makes him strong and he gets a free shield.. but frankly.. its stupid easy just to proc his shield with 1 auto and back away.. wait for it to fall, then engage him.. yes you should get an early item 3191 but even rushing item 3157 isnt that important becuase if he does ulti you u can't cast it anyways, so u can just got for a mana item which make him that much easier to fight than someone like Zed

his Q.. again you can easy see when the tornado is up and its stupid easy to dodge even if u don't have any boots

in fact the ONLY problem i EVER have with yasuo is his knockup on his dash he he does that.. i cant counterplay that for the life of me.. but if he throws the tornado.. its stupid easy to dodge

yes yasuo is pretty freaking strong if you feed him... but he isn't even as bad as MasterYi is when fed.

idk why people think he is soo "OP" right now. he is pretty easy to counterplay.

Yasuo himself isnt op imo because he is squishy and dies fast... this is where https://i.gyazo.com/c96cd377d7d81af1d6bf811d924bf3cc.png comes in tho

It's cancer. Thought you couldn't get away from him before? Featuring Frozen Mallet! Yay! Not to mention the choice to stay and fight him or run and possibly live is now so blurred the question might as well be "Can I survive long enough to get back to my turret?" Followed immediately by "Oh shit, he's so tanky he can just dive me anyway. Fuck."

Actually, if you Zhonya right after falling from Yasuo ult,you will cancel it's damage.

It doesn't really stop the 15 second bonus armor penetration, himself being able to easily run back out. PLUS as Penns pointed out the 'No Crit Tank Yasuo' build let me direct you to a particular item

PHANTOM DANCER item 3046

Ever yasuo build i've seen that skipped shiv for it or built it and then progressed to a tank build i've found to be insanely annoying. Because he is even faster then he is with Trinity force (+7% more move speed while near enemy champions, 12% less damage taken from the last champion to hit him, etc). Plus even if his Q also lets him proc the on'hit effect of Tri'force, its not as necessary since its just basically replacing his crit'ability with a damage enhancer that has a cool down, Phantom dancer basically like shiv gives him that free 60% crit chance which is once again 'not on some proc cool down'.

Plus here's a interesting FUNFACT, Sunfire Cape and Deadman's plate have the same cost at 2900 when fully built, both grant 50 armor and 500 hp. But the major difference is Sunfire Cape is more of a harass stick tool with that AoE tic damage(Meaning unless you stick close to your target for more then short moments of time, its not as viable as some would think. Deadman's plate can work even outside of combat by granting that huge +60 flat move speed bonus (which i'm very sure would get hit by % move speed too), and that extra discharge damage bonus which is a whooping 100 damage at full stacks and grants a 1 second slow on the target too boot. Meaning the item literally adds to some ridiculous roam potential for any champion who makes use of it, not just tanks alone, in addition to a powerful initiator which can give Yasuo a even more unfair advantage in a 1vs1 scenario or him ganking. Especially since he can just use minion dashing to zone close to you, have the high move speed from dead man's plate to let him close the remaining gap quickly and then Q tornado you in the process if he has it prepared(which surprise everyone! DEADMAN'S PLATE IS A ON-HIT EFFECT SO YASUO's Q CAN EXPLOIT IT).

Though i never got to personally test it out myself, just Phantom dancer alone made Yasuo opponents i've had to fight in matches able to get out of 3 to 4 man ganks with ease because of the mobility combined with his E rapid dashing. So if they make no changes to Deadman's plate or Phantom Dancer or properly give Yasuo a harsh nerfing to not let him make use of said items so freely, then he, along with plenty of other silly cheesie champs could make use of Phantom Dancer or Deadman's Plate still and repeat the process over and over again.

Just because he's not invincible doesn't mean he's not OP. If you're a melee champ, that shield does a lot since you can't just auto to get rid of it because he'll out damage you hard in auto range.

Yasuo isn't OP, but build that tanky-ish crap and he has the same problem as tankko. Sticky as hell, won't die, and still does way more damage than it should. Ekko was arguably worse with all the mobility and slows he has, but the problem is the same, just not AS horrible on Yasuo.
