Junglers have been getting less smart?

Ever since the new jungle came they've been less..smart?

By this I mean I rarely ever counter jungle For ex. I could have an udyr on my team vs a twisted fate jungle and my Udyr won't dare try to steal camps/kill at buffs etc. They'll just sit in their own jungle.

Another thing is they never take drags. A lot of junglers can take drag insanely early ( like lvl 4 early) yet none of them do it. or another scenario where the enemy mid laner/jungle is ganking top my jungler will instead farm his jungle instead of getting drag.

One of my main issues is they never use the Smite buffs on big monsters to their advantage. The raptor buff for ex. Instead of going out to kill a ward or check for them at least with the buff active they just run to a new camp or attemp to "gank" a lane in the worst way possible

I tend to only play normals cause ranked as some retards in it but people don't seem to understand what junglers can do anymore.

With the old jungle they use to be competitive over everything. Now they just don't give a crap for anything

With the new patch they nerved junglers iq

No really going for a gank with raptor buff is not stupid at al since you know if your spotted now

i also use it before i go counterjungling sometimes

its very difficult to counter jungle as most junglers that aren't named leesin/khazix (or early panth) who will straight up kill anything they find, or have an easy way to escape. this is because the river is usually warded. quite a bit. as far as most other champions, why would i invade theirs when something on my side is closer and after i take that ill be closer to my laner to gank for them should they need it. others simply cant do it because they're already too low.

Counterjungling isn't a majorly rewarding strategy, particularly when the higher downtimes on camps and the greater access to early wards means taht you risk not finding anything to steal, and you risk getting caught. Farming your own stuff, ganking, and stealing something only every once in a while is the generally safer strategy. There is a chance for high rewards from counterjungling, but more often than not, you end up losing significantly more in wasted time and risky behavior than you gain.

You are correct about the dragon. Junglers should be prioritizing this earlier. That is nothing new though. People have been putting it off for too long since this game started.

Counter-jungling is especially risky and even if it doesn't get you killed can be a massive waste of time.

lets see: one failed counter jungle attempt? You're behind solo laners 2 levels. One failed gank and a counter jg attempt? 3 levels. The new jungle is too unforgiving for extremely risky plays. Also, yes, I can take dragon at level 4 or 5 but unless I know exactly where the enemy jungler is, I don't want to gift a first blood and drag to the enemy team.
