Can Karma actually 1v1 someone

She's sometimes played as a midlaner, but is she able to 100-0 someone anywhere throughout the game? She has 2 damaging abilities ;-;

She has great poke but unless she's really ahead she isn't gonna 100-0

Yes, she can. Generally through poke and attrition, though, not in a single rotation.

You're almost never going to 100-0% someone because she's a poke/support mage, not an assassin or burst mage. I have been so fed that I could take off 90% of someone's health with a single RQ, but that's fairly rare.

Killing your enemy laner 1v1? Very likely. Duelling an ADC later-game? Not so much.

Karma mid is picked mid for similar reasons why she is support

she provides a shield and movement speed for teammates ( utility ) and due to her shield she can sustain damage from mid laners who are known to deal alot of it and snowball ( Cassiopeia ) and keep them from doing so... and with empowered abilities on her damage abilities they do provide some punch and i suppose damage amplifiers would help that like grievous wounds, dot hp% damage , sheen proc empowered abilities so i suppose items like

item 3152 item 3100 item 3151 item 3165 could help her damage alot

It's the same reasons why I play Lulu Mid. In most cases though, I'd only player her mid when I know who the ADC is and can trust them to be useful later on so I can just stay back and be a 2nd support that deals a lot of damage. Honestly...I'm surprised we don't see her that much anymore, because she has everything that Karma has and more (The only thing Lulu doesn't have is the insane poke of Karma's RQ but still has a lot of low CD damage.)
