If you're struggling in low elo, I highly recommend picking up Master Yi

While some of you might not like playing the jungle role, let me tell you that Master Yi is insanely broken especially at low elo, and you really need to pick him up. He clears camps relatively well, he clears objectives very well now that dragon has lower health, and he scales like a madman into the lategame. AND he's easy to play. Like what else do you need? I've been having lots of success on him because once you get a few items it's pretty much game over for the enemy team if you're behind or ahead. While he does require a half decent team to carry, he can solo carry teamfights in a way that not a lot of champions can due to his tank shredding potential plus his absurd healing. Seriously my low elo brothers and sisters you need to learn this champion before he gets nerfed, even if you're not a fan of jungling, because the reward is huge when you know what you're doing.

Meh.....I don't really agree. I play him from time to time in the jungle and my general feeling is that his main weaknesses are easy to exploit by any team with half a brain, even in low elo. I mean don't get me wrong, I agree he is a great pick for stomping noobs and climbing but I don't think he is any better than any of the other noob stompers like Kat, Nasus, Tryndamere, Akali, Caitlin, just to name a few. Some of these are even better than he is at 1v9ing low elo as their weaknesses are a lot harder to exploit. Akali and Tryndamere are examples of champions that can hard stomp low elo just like Yi while being far more difficult to counter.

Master Yi has a high ban priority in low elo and is very easily counterpicked.

Its been seven years, they ain't nerfing Yi anytime soon. Pick him up and play him, or if you have mana issues just pick Yasuo. Same thing, easy wins and no skill required!
