its just the state of the game doesnt allow for him to make solo plays with the damage that he is given.

Leaf on Bush1 votesThere were a lot of damage sources that did not interact with SA's passive, which should now be fixed (duskblade included). So SA got a ton of additional damage.

Leaf on Bush1 votesThere was a lot of false information going around regarding that passive. No idea where that comes from, you could just read the tooltip and it always said "all damage" ( and yes it is post-mitigation still but thats not such a big deal as long as you don't try to become a tank killer).
Hopefully "all damage" is now really "all damage" after Riot took another look.
