There's a common trend in all my wins and losses lately
Bot wins = win Bot loses = lose
All other lanes are simply decorations.

I would agree with you if not for a fact that winning duo in current meta is in about 95% decided by jungler's peformance.
I win games all the time with my junglers doing nothing half the game (farming WAY too much on early ganking champs, feeding their butts off, being dead constantly mid game, getting zerp dragons cause they want to split push).
It isn't easy, but having a bad jungler is a lot easier to over come right now than having a bad bot lane.
Is it really? Whenever I am that bad jungler, we always lose before 6 mins unless my team has some braincells and can let me at least get lv 3 before crying for ganks.
You can definitely still influence the bot lane as top/mid/jg to make them win. But no matter what it seems the winning bot lane is the winning team right now.
Yes, you can influence bot as a jungle. Problem is, you no longer can influence bot as bot.
Nah bro, if the enemy team has one good assassin and one of them gets fed, you're dead regardless of how fed you are. Or you might get a support that engages > peels cough
cough so you won't have time to do damage anyway.
The ADC role is super dependent on people protecting them, I've lost plenty of games when ahead as ADC because my team didn't have the tools or sometimes the desire to peel. A fed jungle usually means that at least one other lane is fed, that's what decides the win.
Noticed the jungle part the most, mainly because jungler ends up feeding only because all lanes are fucked up before he can even gank (& pls report jungler fkin noob didn't gank 6 times before 8 mins), or he just sucks.
If we kicked the teeth out of ADCs by making them actually need 6 items again to be threatening instead of 1.5 like it is now, that wouldn't be the case.
Or if ADCs were nerfed so that they don't have the problem that Old Ryze did- which is when they're strong, you can't enter their range or you more or less instantly die with little counterplay.
This is exactly what needs to happenbut this is not what riot nor the community wants. Remember the outcry of every bronze- challenger adc because they can't carry the game and what happened afterwards? Meanwhile im sitting toplane with 5 kills and 4 towers and inhib taken and still lose the game because the enemy has an adc and i don't. I hate this meta and i wish it to be gone. Why even pick a carry top? It doesn't matter when a tristana with stattik and a BF sword can just straight up duel me. Even worse when their support is with them. There used to be a time where any toplaner could 1v2 the enemy bot 15 mins into the game. I find myself more often than not at the same level as botlane despite having kills and solo experience the entire game. Idk what happened but riot definitely ruined this meta by allowing adcs to be relevant with only one to one and a half item. That's not what they are supposed to do and it is incredibly toxic and one of the reasons why also in the lcs toplaner only play tanks instead of carries. Apart from lcs which i don't care about: This game is and will live from its playerbase actually playing the game on various levels. I in my soloQ want to be able to carry the game on my own if i decide to play a carry champ and not come into champselect already knowing winning or losing lp is at the mercy of my autofilled botlane.
Ah, the good old days when ADCs were actually late-game champions and team reliant. Also the time of "lul ADC2K17" and "ADC is useless" posts being everywhere - despite the fact that "useless" ADCs were still mandatory in every teamcomp. Honestly, every time ADCs aren't strong in all roles and all points of the game there are waves of whiny ADC mains complaining.

Ad carries never required six items to be useful..... in fact I don't think there's ever been anyone that needed six entire items to be useful. o_O
in the before times
Big Lincoln speaks the true true
Problem is tanks are way too tanky and ADCs are forced to be too much damaging to compensate.
Hence why bruisers and assassins are shit.
nerf both return to bruiser meta
Now we're talking.
Yuck, this the most disgusting post I've seen in a while. I've never seen such bias hatred. This guy said make ADC's irrelevant till 6 items, aka 40 minutes plus, and got upvotes? Wtf? So I have to play a game for 40 minutes before I can express any real impact in my game, then when I finally get my items, they don't mean much cause everyone else been had theirs since they were useful enough to get kills earlier. And let's not forget that I'll probably only make it to 40 minutes once every 5 games. Even a pro player couldn't climb with a shitty role like that. LMAO you people are disgusting, I can't believe this comment got any upvotes at all.
It's widely known the boards absolutely despise anything related to ADCs being relevant while putting mages on golden pedestals. You'll never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. I say that as someone who prefers mages. You'll be really hard pressed to find any reasonable discussion here about ADCs.
my anti-mage posts get deleted
Here in Silver, it doesn't matter if your botlane wins when the guy who insisted on going Heimer top is 1/18 at 20 mins in... ######I'm still salty about that game
I'd advise you to replace the bot with a human player. That might help.
well wanna know something else all your wins and loses have in common?
YOU ...
Good analysis. However I do fall into one of the categories being "bot" or "all other lanes".
I will divine unto you that I am a proud member of the "all other lanes" category and am merely a decoration to league of gamble on your bot lane.
so help your bot lane get them ahead and win games?
You do know that its possible to help a lane and by the end of day that said lane to end up losing
Why? Why shouldn't botlane help me as a toplane carry to get me ahead and win the game? Oh right because riot nerfed everything to shit so the only ones being able to carry after 20 mins are adcs. So that the vast majority of the community can now feel as the heroes they always thought they are. Finally being THE carry drowning in egrill pussy.
the team that plays the best together wins more often
sometimes you gotta know how to be carried and protect those who are carrying sometimes you have to know how to lift those who are down and bring them to level so they arent a liability ...
if you gank and know that lane is behind and struggling instead of taking the kill to snowball you let them have cuz that gold and experience could be enough to bring the lane more to an even playing field and that lil bit of mental gain that your struggling teammate gets from feeling like they are doing something productiive and positive in a game might just keep them in it and not tilt and snowball that tilt into a lost
Your argument is bad, basically it boils down to, get used to it arcs are the only carries now.
In fact I can destroy your argument so easily, adcs should not be the only viable carries because listen up adcs...

so help your bot lane get them ahead and win games?
And completely ignore the issue?
Someone else said it in the thread; 9 times out of 10, bot lane's win/loss is completely decided on which jungler decides to gank first. :/ For a lane that's supposed to be 2v2, bot lane is very rarely ever that. Its usually a 3v2 or 4v2. Hell, sometimes its a 5v2 while the rest of your team decides to hang out and do nothing.
Maybe it's because unlike other lanes, it's because there are two laners there, the ADC and the support, so when a bot loses lane, you have two members getting put at a disadvantage, and two enemy laners who are now at an advantage.
It's almost like your team doesn't just come running into bot lane while the top TP's bot for a quickie every now and then, so that they can all have after parties at Dragon's, thus higher chances to win.
I don't think your assessment is correct.
...........
That said, I do feel that Riot is enforcing duo bot lane meta way too much. It has been so for quite a long time. Riot should really free up that choked duo bot meta, it's just not healthy for the game.
riot never made you are set any rule that you have to duo bot lane... that meta came from the players adapting to the best strategy of the map...
at any point if people didnt wanna cry trolls and off meta play needs to be banned we can evolve from this meta...
so we need to look at why the adc/support meta in bot exist and why the map is played out like it is...

Adc+supp bot came from experimentation, yes, but don't pretend that Riot didn't end up simply balancing according to it. I mean, how else would you explain the buff Dragon and the splitpush Rift Herald, where the former is still far more important than the latter so the focus of the game will forever be centered at the lower part of the map? How else would you explain the strange extra resistance add-on to the top turret before? How else would you explain the mage support nerfs, or just mage bot nerfs in general? How else would you explain the numberous changes made to itemisation as an attempt to make marksmen relevant in every possible team comp from the good o' BT rework to the hottest GA rework? Etc?
Outside of the QQ community that hates change, which I get it, it's cancerous and it's happening A LOT, but don't say that Riot has no part in it by artificially gripping the bot balance with duo laning via over-emphasising its importance hence the most logical conclusion is just put 2 people there, always, at bot.
As soon as Riot finally opens their hands and actually free up the bot meta, I'm fairly sure people would, while not immediately get back to the openness towards experimentation like before, but would certainly be far less salty towards the notion of it. It's partly Riot's fault that causes this stagnation in the meta, as they nerf everything that doesn't conform or relate to it so it's natural for players to come to the conclusion that everything that doesn't follow the current meta is sub-optimal, ineffective or maybe trolling.
"Riot should really free up that choked duo bot meta, it's just not healthy for the game."
as players of the game is it we who change it ... not riot
[{quoted}](name=MrFawknSunshine ,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=PlgA1vPT,comment-id=0005000000000000,timestamp=2017-08-06T09:58:18.888+0000)

As I've said, Riot HAS AND STILL IS balancing the game according to an arbitrary meta they set it upon themselves. A player can't change anything by playing something that's just worse; sure it would give you a challenge, but that's about it. So who the hell wants to do that? And there it is, the center of this problem.
Riot needs to free-up the game first, because then we can even talk about having players to change it.
Your argument is almost like a boss saying to their employees "it's you who run and change the company, so why don't you change it if you have any complaints?", when they're sitting there dictating what goes into and out of the said company and how everything works there, because that's what a boss does.
all you have to do is send the duo lane to another lane and play the game that way

There is a difference between handicapping yourself and finding different ways to play.
What's the difference? The differences lies in whether or not this game allows experimentation. At the current stage it doesn't, and there is a very clear tier list on what's more effective and what is less. You like doing things suboptimally by 3-man top (and nobody gets exp or gold in the current balance state), does not mean there is suddenly a meta change. The game has to have the capacity to allow that to happen in the first place, and it doesn't, because Riot balancing.
For example, people hated the adc+supp setup, so double assassins, double bruisers, double mages, and adc+mage, and mage+supp have all been a thing for bot lane WITHIN THE DUO BOT LANE CONTEXT ALONE. And guess what happened, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE THINGS GOT NERFED. Let's not even mention what happened last time someone tried to duo lane somewhere else outside of bot.
If you sir still can't see that Riot takes part of the problem by enforcing a certain meta, then welp.
You sir are right.
Riot is enforcing the meta
They are forcing us to play around the adc class there really isn't any denying it.
I mean, how else would you explain the buff Dragon and the splitpush Rift Herald
I describe it as improvement over an empty pit.
How else would you explain the strange extra resistance add-on to the top turret before?
That's because of the LCS. Teams would trade their outer top and bottom turrets without ever really defending them. One team would send 3 or 4 players top to take a turret, the other would send 3 or 4 players bottom to take a turret, then they'd flip. To make it a disadvantage to try that strategy (which was stupidly boring) they added defensive stats to Top turret and Mid turret, so if any team tried it they'd fall behind.
How else would you explain the mage support nerfs, or just mage bot nerfs in general?
Mage supports being strong? What does nerfing a mage support have to do with where supports lane?
The only Mage Bot who's been picked up is Ziggs, and he's gotten nothing but buffs and bug fixes since 6.9

I said Riot is not balancing the game according to its own merits and allowing the meta to be more free and develop/change on its own. You prove my statements correct, by saying that Riot does prevent natural meta evolution and purposely balances the game in such a way that it works the way they specifically want it (balancing according to spectacle against the "boring strategy", balancing because support champs somehow have to be at bot and no one should take their place, etc) as opposed to being more "hands off" about like any dev that actually respect game diversity and balance would.
The only difference between me and you is that I hate balancing like that because it ISN'T balancing, while you support it. However don't pretend that Riot does not do narrow and skewed balancing because you just said that they do here.
How do you balance anything without picking what you're going to balance it around? What you described sounds like wishful thinking more than an actual balancing strategy.
How do you balance anything without picking what you're going to balance it around? What you described sounds like wishful thinking more than an actual balancing strategy.
Don't pull this shit, please. Balancing needs a priority, yes, but if your priority is "I think this is more interesting" or "XXX shouldn't be at a whatever lane", then your balancing philosophy is absolutely busted and the results show. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what Riot is doing with some of its balancing decision is absolutely bunkers, ineffective, and the antithesis of what "balance" even means.
Balance is not an easy job. I will admit, it's pretty darn hard, ain't no doubt about that. And I'm sure Riot is trying, more or less. But that does not excuse the undeniably shitty balance state that this game has been in for god knows how long on an objective level, and it's still not getting better when other and new games in the same genre have nailed the balance better than League has.
Facing a problem is NOT wishful thinking. It's stupid to demand something to be perfect, but it IS THE REAL STUPID to assume things wrong to almost always the result of practicality and ultimately unfixable. I mean, it's not like I'm just accusing things at the wrong people and/or missing the real problem, Riot does have couple records where they, intentionally or otherwise, messed up the game balance very badly when those mistakes clearly shouldn't have happened in the first place and have little to do with practical limitation of balancing. There are, or at least have been: Skewed, broken, ineffective game balance, and inattentiveness caused balance disasters, meta enforcing and gripping, refusing to address long term problems in the game, overnerf-then-overbuff-then-gut routines etc. Those are NOT "actual balancing strategy". No, all of that can be fixed, addressed, or at least looked at to significant extent by now; and until they do, THEN we can talk about the boundary of realistic game balance.
Before that, Riot's balancing is NOT good game balance. Don't kid yourself.
Mine is kinda weird.
I stomp my lane's ass into the ground = literally everyone else feeds and we lose
I'm just casually farming because my laner won't fight me = every other lane stomps ass and we win
It's ridicolous how other lanes have no impact on the game at all. Bot and Jungle. Only bot and jungle. IF your jungler doesnt suck ass and your bot gets kill or two it's basically a won game. Take this from a top laner that wins lane 95% of the time.
I also see a trend:
Troll on my team = loss Troll on enemy team = win
The other 9 players don't matter
Also agreed. Psychological all chat warfare helps create them on the enemy team sometimes.
Anyone who uses all chat to inspire toxic attitudes or play should be given a zero tolerance permaban. Such sportsmanship is so cancerous that even at the highest level of play in real sports shit like this would result in actual suspension and fines.
As a support main, my experience has been
Bot lane wins = all other lanes go 0/5
ADC 2K17 guys...
