S5 has been only 1 meta

It's not the tank meta or the juggernaut meta. It's the hypercarry meta. On almost every winning team there is a hyper carry. Over the course of the season we have seen different strategies and team comps designed to beat hypercarries, such as tanks bruisers and juggernauts. But these have all been reactions to the power and prevalence of hypercarries in game. So we have been misnaming the meta, and therefore losing focus on the issue. By their very nature Hypercarries are difficult to balance.

Now I'm not saying that riot has not introduced non hypercarries who weren't overpowered. While Juggs are in a good place now they were OP when they were released. And I personally feel that tahm kench is too strong as well. But that is because he provides so much protection for these hypercarries. Anyway my point is that the rise and fall of viability to some champs does not define the meta. It is the unchanged aspects that should deteermine that.

hypercarries themselves are fine because its either the team succeeds in protecting them and is given every opportunity to succeed. or it kinda flops and you gotta makeshift a win.

my complaint is that people dont have as much individual impact as they used too, its far more necessary to work with your team mates, which is fine to most degrees, but it can be a real bear to work with the bottom of the barrel. (or work against).

which is why

PROMOTE RANKED TEAMS, riot needs to make it easier for players to find players and set up ranked teams and communicate with them. that should be their next goal.

Agreed, too often I find that my teammates and I all do well in our relative positions but the way the game is now it doesn't matter at all how good you did in lane or on an individual or even duo scale. If your team can't communicate or team fight properly you will lose 90% of the time.

Unfortunately solo and even duo que's can't talk/communicate with their teammates. You don't know these people or their play styles you just gotta enter the game and hope you all are on the same track. Its too hard to organize a split push or peel strategy when all you have to communicate is generic pings that are overused and a chat box filled with more swears than actually ideas/plans.

tldr: Ranked teams highly underrated and under-promoted/rewarded.

Hypercarries, as a general rule, are definitely not fine. A hypercarry is supposed to have a weak early game, and that simply isn't the case 90% of the time. A hypercarry should have a HUGE risk of being completely shut down early game and therefor be irrelevant until late, late game.

A couple of good examples of the way hypers should be are Twitch and Poppy . They can be terrors late, but are very weak early.

and it´s the ADC + support meta since season 1

Actually it was. Who doesn't remember the full tank Sej running out of the Jungle with Gromp buff and only a item 3151 for damage and still outdamaging all the hyper carries?

The Hyper-Carries became popular again after the Lane Bullies which kept their power spikes in check got nerfed/fell out of favor

I'm not so sure about that. Graves was the most popular adc for the early part of the season and Sivir and Kalista have both dominated competitive play and neither of them are hypercarries either.

So what you're saying is, we need more lane bullies.

What we really need is less sustain on tanky engage/disengage supports. Which would allow poke supports to actually punt Hypercarries out of lane for a while to delay their scaling. Lane bully ADC have a big problem in that they can't go aggro because poke means almost nothing in the sustain wars between tank supports at the moment.

Which is also why you see so many TP from top to bottom with a jungler also cruising in to break the stalemate and attempt forcing a lane win.

Eh not exactly true. Mid season seeing something like maokai, Evelyn, orianna, Corki, Braun would be very normal in competitive, and none of these are hypercArries. the resurgence of hyper carries began after cinderhulks dominance, but it was a bit late as a response

yeah, but graves was popular for a while
