I Thought that they were Reworking Ryze

and from a ryze main i was happy, because they was going to give up this trash design going 80% defensive still kill everybody. But no, let's revert his oldest nerf to make him as oppressive as before

Current state of game, Ryze can barely make it out of laning phase in competitive.

Top that off, he needs an additional 20 minutes to be impactful.

Except as we have all seen since the nerfs, they weren't on the light side. He is completely trash now. He can't lane against anyone anymore, and you need to go to 50 minutes before he is even useful in teamfights.

Also, "His oldest nerf" does not mean "His absolutely most recent nerf."

Not saying I completely agree with the buff, but he does need a buff of some kind definitely.
