Max rank yellow card - 45 + auto attack damage Max rank Q - 240 damage, never 1 shots ranged creeps unless you have death cap.

So compare him to other mid laners...

Bind - 250 damage + auto attack + 20 damage off of her passive. You will always be hit by her E - 240 damage.

Twisted Fates ult is stupidly weak, we might as well play him Support roam rather than mid... Then roam and snowball mid/jungle.. that's how weak TF is right now.

Twisted Fate can't split push either. He's too slow, by the time your yellow card pops up the enemy already chunked you to half hp, went stealth or blocks or windwalls your slow projectile stun card LOL.

TLDR TF's damage is too low His roaming puts him and his team at a larger deficit than it gave them any benefits (slow respawn times in early phases of the game) Lose mid lane plates for nothing.

So with TF you're not really looking to solo kill your laner. You only use gold card to set up a gank or when you roam

In other words your damage doesn't have to be good because your gold card sets up other champions for chain cc and their damage as well as yours

TF can shove waves quite easily with red card and W, also takes minion dematerialiser for more waveclear. TF has a good way of managing his mana in lane because you're often using some set sequence of blue and red cards.

TF definitely needs an update to become more cohesive of a champion, as his kit is dated. That being said, his kit is too strong when it does work that he has won entire tournaments himself from his plays. On demand point and click stun halfway across the map is very, very powerful. And on demand map wide clairvoyance is amazing as well.

The last Q nerf hit him in the balls for laning phase. The further the cards go, the more damage they do, however since is multiplicative, -10 base damage on Q hurts the laning phase.

The nerf was done due to the old rune system if i recall it right. I could be wrong about the reason tho.
