his Q shreds 28% mr wit's end steals 30 flat mr guinsoo removes 15% or mr on top of that he can build mr pen boots removing 18 flat mr

q and guinsoo are multiplicative, and are applied after the shred from his q and guinsoo. assuming my bronze ass got these calculations correct, it should be flat MR pen first so assuming a target is a maokai at lvl 18 holding nothing (53.4 mr):

30 + 18 = 48 flat

applied first

53.4 - 48 = 5.4

5.4 x .28 rd = 1.5

5.4 x .15 rd = .81

1.5 + .81 = 2.31

5.4 - 2.31 = 3 (rounded)

maokai will take damage as if he has 3 MR at level 18, with no items

if he had, say:

item 3111 (25 mr) conditioning rune (8 MR) 2 mr stat runes (10 MR) item 3065 (55 MR)

total: 98 MR

98 - 48 = 50

50 x .28 rd = 14

50 x .15 rd = 7.5

14 + 7.5 = 21.5

50 - 21.5 = 28.5

he will take damage as if he has 28.5 MR

edit: ok now i think im done, i didnt take into account that % magic pen doesnt actually reduce the MR stat like flat pen, therefore the original value before damage remains the same.

Magic resistance reduction, flat. Magic resistance reduction, percentage. Magic penetration, percentage. Magic penetration, flat.

So, the wits end is magic resist reduction. Afaik when mumu got his rework the last bit of magic resist % reduction was removed from the game (on armor this is known as % shred), then it applies % pen, then flat pen.

So from you're 98 Mr, you'd do:

98 - 30 = 68 Mr

68 Mr * (1-.28) = 49 Mr

49 Mr * (1-.15) = 42 Mr

42 Mr - 18 = 24 Mr final, with a zerod Mr at no items. (note, all numbers rounded up)
