Make Akali’s ult point and click.

One of the most annoying things about Akali is how she has 3 escapes allowing her never give you the chance to fight her when you want to but allows her to fight you whenever she wants to.

I want her ult to be point and click so she can’t use it for escaping, she can only use it for offense like Fizz’s Q (Which basically is the exact same ability except it’s not an ult and you can’t use it twice). Plus it will be a better way to express your skill if you manage to hit multiple champions if you time it just right.

They just drastically increased the cooldown on her ultimate, so forcing her to use it as an escape is a small victory, as it greatly reduces her kill pressure for the next 2:00 - 1:40 based on level.

Also your whole reason for disliking it is basically a description of the assassin class: They fight you when they want to, and they avoid fighting you when they don't.

Think of Malphite’s ult as the same thing. People usually use it to go all in, but in some occasions people use it to escape. Akali’s ult is no different.

If any change to Akali it should be that this change is reverted

Akali 9.14 buffs

Base health increased from 550 to 575 Base HP regeneration increased from 6 to 8

They should make it so her Q gives her healing again, not as much as before, but at least in which it will make her sustainable.
