When you win a game and you're in the low-mid 80s area in terms of LP, finishing in the upper 90s (especially 99) is frustrating as shit. It's because you feel like you're playing the game only to gain 1-5 LP while still being able to lose the normal amount. I honestly think if you wo your series, that difference in what you'd lose once you hit 100 LP should be added into your next placed division

DrCyanide3 votesI fully agree with it being frustrating being at 99/98 LP (and doesn't it always seem like you get to that point?). I tend to feel like it's a 3rd/4th required win for promotion, but far less forgiving. Having the LP carry over, even having half the LP carry over, would feel nice.

Having a straight Elo system with solo q would feel nice, if it comes to it.
Just show me my Elo rating. How is that hard?
Niaphim2 votesYou are indirectly compensated for these "wasted LP" because your mmr will be higher than the corresponding LP. If you inflate your rank, you will just get less LP and lose more in your next games.

Which means you will gain more LP per win and lose less per loss once you win your promos.
FatADCsMatter1 voteshonestly i find the whole ranking LP complete stupid. you get matches that you try so freakin hard to win, and only get 17 LP. then theres games you win you get 20 and two people on the opposite team were afk. or if you lose a match you may go down 16 or you may go down 21. just make it an even 20 man.

I understand that and completely agree, that's why I'm asking for the difference of the LP you don't get because of going into your series to carry over to your next division
