support can sometimes work especially as a counter pick, it shuts down 
's Q stun and his shrooms are great to have on a map.
I was talking more like, for example;

I'm almost 100% certain that is not the case.
Blind will stop autoattacks and modifiers that go with them.

I was Varus in both games while my supports were Katarina and Talon. We poked them down low enough to gib and I just locked them down for their combos.

Support+tank items, free harass, and moderate-high base damage without building any. Hell, Sightstone even gives him damage. The only issue is that you'd likely need Rylai's in order to consistently help peel for your ADC.
The rest of them, definitely troll, though. Hell, Vlad's basically troll too, just better than the others. lol

Less damage if she builds none, healing isn't as easy/strong to pull off, has mana, is melee, etc. Anything she can do, Vlad support basically does better.
Especially since Vlad can use face of the mountain pretty easily.

Ashe secondary sole is labeled support which is why i find it funny people are quick to call report when they see it. Why would you report someone for using a champ as support who's role is support lol.
Illoai support is fucking cancer to lane against......it is not fun at all. Ive only went against it twice and it was a very miserable time each time.
When it comes to meta FUCK meta...but at the same time there are some champs who just have no business in a certain role. Try supporting a ADC Master Yi with Soraka vs a Lucian with a Zyra support. That game almost made me stop playing support.
