Why are assassins allowed to assassinate entire teams?

Fizz and talon namely. Why is it that these champions get as much burst as rengar and zed, but do their damage in an AOE? I just feel like league should be more of a team game and that a single assassin should not be able to single handedly carry and borderline 1v5.

Brand, vel'koz, ziggs, and anivia are immobile mages who are intended specifically to nuke entire teams, why are hyper-mobile assassins able to do the exact same thing better and faster?

I never said they did more damage. I said talon and fizz perform an AOE mage's roles better as assassins. And that seems absurd to me, that assassins are better in this game at erasing your team than the AOE mage that was designed to do just that.

Because riot is retarded. They messed up by making the juggernauts and other bruisers way to strong so they have to make assassins strong so there is actually a reason to play them.

Fizz and talon have nowhere near as much Aoe damage that other mages bring. The only assassins that can kill a whole team Is kat but that is her niche and Theme.

Uhh...Zed has more AoE than Fizz unless you're talking best-case scenario...in which case Zed still wins.

Talon though, you might have an argument for.

Talon uses mana, has no innate sustain, very mediocre range and damage pre-6, and no way of escaping a gank before he has his ultimate, which just got a super long CD. Also, he's the only assassin with one gapcloser and no resets. Riot already took away his silence, and his relatively spammable ult, what's the point of picking him if we take away his AOE too?
