Mid lane mage?

Any suggestions for a mid lane mage that I should save up for? I'm quite low on IP but I plan to make my next purchase a mage. Also don't mention Lux.

What do you like? Who do you play now?

Just random shit like Lux and Veigar. I'm thinking about buying Orianna or Ziggs because they both seem to be doing good right now and I like their play styles.

Ori is one of the highest skillcap mages in the game and is rewarding to master, so she'd be good.
