Veigar remake

So you got a champion what was neither underpowered since he can farm AP and perform his duty as a burst champion, nor overpowered because of the lack of mobility and slow movement speed, and you broke him.

Not broken as in he is utterly overpowered.

Broken as in, you ruined his identity.

You made some wannabe Xerath and threw him into the underpowered section.

His Q being able to hit two targets is nothing if there are minions behind those two that could have been farmed. Which if you think about it, you would need to perform constant perfect positions to collect all that AP farm and that's assuming the opponent is going to let you.

The delay on his E was clearly from people who cried about the instant stun when they don't know how to bloody stay in a circle or how you can flash away from it.

The nerf to his R? I don't much care for it, since the nerfed damage would've been simply covered by Q farming.

But now you made it limited and tried to hide it by making it hit two targets.

I am not playing a wannabe Xerath.

This rework was unnecessary and poorly thought out.

There are plenty of champions that could really use a rework like Urgot or champions that don't even need a big rework and just a passive change like Ashe.

The balance team clearly doesn't know what they're doing and it won't be too long before they decide to also rework every moocher's favorite champion Zed.

Then we'll see how you people who support this change feel.

P.S: If this is gonna go through, I demand Nasus gets the same treatment.

Agreed, the E changes make is W impossible to land, effectively giving him 2 spells. Take away any champions W and E and they would be dumpstered, thats whats happening to Veigar. To add insult to injury I own two of his skins ( Final boss & Bad santa) and cant refund them due to riots new policy.

i used to play him a lot, had 3 skins and was gifted bad santa. unfortunately the current meta meant that he isn't strong, but what they are doing to his kit, it's going to make him a joke pick or something.

Insta-stunning someone and bursting them 100 to 0 was the final move in a sequence. People complaining that they had "no counterplay" there remind me of people flipping a chessboard because "omg you just moved your queen there and suddenly I lose."

Now, it's true that a well-executed Veigar kill made people feel completely helpless. That's part of what made him fun, in a sadistic way. But if they stopped to think about it, there were plenty of decisions that led up to that moment. It was just the final play, once he had the items to burst you, and he was in range, and you got far enough from your frontline that he could get away with blasting you, and you didn't build the defensive stats to allow you to survive such a mistake, and he landed the edge of the stun on you (something I always found much harder than it rationally should be, especially when the adrenaline is pumping).

I'd be fine with them getting rid of the insta-stun and replacing it with something more interesting. This is not more interesting: this is just a massive nerf to his stun. He no longer has any way to defend himself in a 1v1, or even to reliably land a meteor-Q-R rotation, unless someone feels like walking into the wall of his stun is a good idea.
