It's funny how everyone constantly strikes at Riot as a whole for imbalance
But never actually witch hunts the designer that think the current meta is okay and to ignore the community's complaints.

It's funny how people thinks every meta except one where tanks can AFK in teamfights and deal the most damage are shit.
I just want something similar to season 1-5 in general. Pre-cinderhulk was all preferable to what we have now. Any point in the game's history. Even League of Cleavers.
Even if it was still unbalanced during certain periods, it was actually still enjoyable to play. And I say that when I was on the receiving end, not following the abuse bandwagon.
That's because it's usually not a single designer making the changes and calling the shots. Decisions to change statistics and mechanics are usually collectively debated, with the final resolution being an amalgamation of various suggestions and ideas from multiple developers. For that reason "Riot" as a whole can be blamed for the majority of imbalances.
this post is way more interesting in my oppinion :-D http://boards.euw.leagueoflegends.com/de/c/champions-gameplay-de/q6Ex4rI4-der-neue-master-yi-patch-66-eine-knifflige-sache
for those who don't understand german ... the OP mentions, that with patch 6.6
got a buff ...
Well calculations show, that the tanky build actually got a nerf ... so in my opinion .. balance team is working well.
I have NEVER gotten upset at the lore or art team and I honestly don't think blaming a specific designer is efficient. Maybe talking to him/her to see their points of views might be better.
We don't know and have no way to find out who the people who handle balance are.
These boards actually pine for the meta where Sejuani and Gragas could jump in 1v5 and kill 2-3 people before dying.
NO, we want the fixed version of that, the one after th first wave of nerfs and before the second. How many times do we have to repeat it?
So you want the meta where Top, jung, and support all had to be tanks every single game or else you lost automatically. I gotcha. Quite an eye for champion diversity you got there.
Well, my toplane Quinn and Swain were thriving at that time. Same for my Aatrox jungle and Soraka support. I liked that meta because it allowed me to play that way.
And no, current toplane Quinn is not the real heavy bruiser toplane Quinn ;u; nostalgia strikes
First off, the only reason there hasn't been a witch hunt is because no designer has claimed sole responsibility for preserving the current meta, as the lack of a name in your post suggests. People have hounded down designers like CertainlyT, Stashu and even RiotRepertoir for team projects, so a case like this would be no different. Second, there is no individual designer responsible for supporting the current meta, and many of its most rigid aspects have remain unchallenged for years. Third, neither Riot nor individual Rioters ignore community complaints, balance changes are fully based on hard data and player feedback, and Riot does try to change the meta, with varying results (e.g. the support rework in Season 4, which gave them access to real items, versus Mordekaiser being unsuccessfully reworked into a bot lane carry). Finally, why even witch hunt anyone? Do you honestly think bullying someone until you get your way is really the best course of action? Riot and its developers work to make League a better game for all of its players, and it's childish to assume they want to ruin people's fun in their own game, or sabotage their product just because one employee wants to halt progress for the sake of their own gameplay experience. A much better plan would be to work with Riot, not against them, and provide detailed feedback on what you think needs to change, why those issues are a problem, and how you'd like the meta to evolve.
