why is everyone saying duskblade = dfg?
ap assasins such as ahri/leblenk have luden which as duskblade ,grants burst /movement and a big chunk of dmg boost (ap)
dfg was amplifying dmg while dealing %dmg, dusk is execute.

no it doesn't, the damage it provides is negligible single target. (100 at most with a high AP build) as a whole to all targets its still less than half of what duskblade can give single target.
its just much more potent.
its because ludens can proc many many many times in 2 minutes.
a strict downtime given to duskblade due to its potency....
The cost of power you could say...
With great power comes great responsibility.
amplifying dmg = basically at the end the day, you did enough damage to kill people. execute dmg = basically at the end of the day, you did enough damage to kill people.
Its basically the AD equivalent activating on autos, since AD users auto attack.
and you're right ludens basically does that too. i would even go as far to say its superior to duskblade in many ways. far more uptime on procs via casting spells and moving. scaling with your AP it will always be relevant in terms of dmg.
They each serve its purpose. one aiding those who which to learn the arts of arcane magics...and the other favoring those who wish to slice and dice with their blades.
If you're ad mid, build duskblade if you're ap mid build ludens if you're hybrid mid build both.
Wait what?? did i just say both!? haha never seen it before, could be...Interesting.
Akali.
Akali with ludens and duskblade..... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Interesting.....indeed.
If you jumped on a 100% hp target with DFG proc, you would deal 20% more percent damage to them. If you jump on a 100% hp target with Duskblade proc, you will deal 15% more percent damage to them.
They are somewhat different, i.e. DFG amplified only magic damage, Duskblade amplifies all damage and will deal even more damage if target was lower on hp to begin with. But in the end it's same stuff, only thing that gives hope for Duskblade not ruining the game is that you can't directly control when it procs.
Luden is completely different thing, because it does not _multiply _ your damage, but _adds _ to it.
DFG dealt: 15% of the target max HP and then it amplified all the damage by 30%, it was a lot worst than what you say in here.
It's a 25% damage amplifier in effect. While it doesn't deal 15% of max HP. No it's not as strong as DFG was, but why was DFG completely removed, instead of being reduced to a similar amount?
+120 ability power +10% cooldown reduction Active Unique: Deals 15% of target champion's maximum health in magic damage and applies the debuff, Doom. Doom amplifies all magic damage that champion takes by 20% for 4 seconds. 90 second cooldown (750 range).
:v
DuskBolade doesn't have any damage Amp at all. Are people really that uniformed?
{quoted} dfg was amplifying dmg while dealing %dmg, dusk is execute.
Dealing 25% of an enemy's missing health is exactly the same as increasing all damage taken by the enemy by 25%, as long as that damage does not result in any overkill.
