Unpopular opinion-When hit by Lee Sin, it is a good idea to not be able to flash.

The ability to flash to change the direction of the kick would essentially invalidate the ultimate for anything other than damage.

Want to peel for the ADC with a kick? Nope, you just pushed them closer to the ADC since they flashed. Want to kick the enemy tank back into their team? Nope, they just flashed so the knockup isn't applied. Want to try and set up an insec? Nope, they flashed and now you kicked them deeper into their team, or far away.

It would make his ult useless for anything other than damage as long as the enemy team has a flash up. This would apply mostly to LCS, since fights happen more frequently and flash cooldowns matter somewhat less.

This is also a shit idea because it makes Lee Sin unrewarding to play. Imagine this, you ward hopped, Q-Qed, got into melee range, lined up the perfect shot(possible burning your flash in the process), pressed R(possible burning your flash depending on the situation), but it was all for nothing since they too flashed. It would feel incredibly unrewarding.

Should he be nerfed? I don't know, I haven't looked into his balance at all. He very well may require large nerfs to his damage, mobility, or tankiness. Making it so that you can flash to change the direction that you are kicked is not the way to do it. EDIT: A good counterargument would be greatly appreciated. Up until this point the only thing I have seen to support being able to flash to change the direction of you being kicked is "muh fairness". EDIT 2: reupload because i got many downvotes but no good counterarguments. Seriously, I really want to hear a good counter argument for this. I am completely open to hearing one.

Ya, pretty useless forcing someone to burn their 4.5-5 min cooldown summoner ability for your, what is it now, 110 second cooldown ultimate? Probably have some CDR so it's not even that long. Wow that is so USELESS. God, what a terrible ability right!?

Oh but wait, what else? I can flash AFTER I've used my ultimate to change the direction I kick YOU! But you're right, the opposite would make my low cooldown ability SO WORTHLESS. Man you make such a great point OP you are so wise.

Did you just not read my argument? The ability to change the direction that you are being kicked would ruin the ability as a peeling mechanism, an engage mechanism, and catching someone out would all be hurt a lot. The change of being able to flash to change the direction of the kick would not hurt too badly in the laning phase, but later into the game when very meaningful teamfights happen every 3-5 minutes (or less if you are super low elo), it would render his ult fairly pointless for anything but damage.

Like I said already. This would be a much bigger LCS change than an normal ranked one, but you clearly didn't read my post.

Once again another "muh fairness" response. (there is this magical thing called flashing before he ults you too.)

Dude what the fuck are you talking about. Do you know how many ultimates in this game are made useless by being able to flash them?

But you still BURN THE ENEMY FLASH. This is the point of using the ultimate even when you know it won't get a kill. Because you burn the cooldown so you can return and kill them later, because your cooldown is shorter then their flash cooldown.

It wouldn't make his ultimate useless it would add counterplay to his ultimate that is desperately needed.

Sorry but that's retarded, you shouldn't be able to make flash in usable during an ability, unless its a silence or a stun, root

Lee sin should not be able to kick kindred out of her ult .... Lee should not be able to ward hop out of MF's ult as the bullets would be making too much noise and he woudl not be able to clearly identify where the ward or allie is... the open door argument can be used over and over to counter it. You want a no counter play ability even if that means using a much longer CD to counter it?

Want to make sure you get a good ult off ... communicate and see if they have sums and time them .... don't do that then nope can't get a guarantee you will pull off that ult kill.
