The main reason people would like to secondary as Support but don't anymore.

like myself in the past(and sometimes present), I only really enjoyed one role and if i couldn't supp was usually available and fairly enjoyable form time to time.

An example would be a jungle who doesn't enjoy last hitting minions for days, would obviously like to support when they can't jg because that's the only other role not dependent on last hitting creeps.

But since queing as supp 2ndary gives u supp almost every time, it's just no longer an option for non supp mains.

I guess you could say this thread is a response to all the threads talking about "just don't que supp 2ndary", and similar topics.

I've personally felt this has been more of a dynamic queue thing than the role selector. (I know I agree with you, and have often said to myself "Why is there two options for support in the role selector wheel?). I think it's because groups that queue get preference for primary role, which as support is one of (if not the) least preferred roles, It's often left open by groups, so there's a lot more games with an open support slot.

Worse yet, because of the nature of the support role, you are extremely reliant on your ADC, which again thanks to dynamic queue can be anything from a god to a frog. I refuse to support in the new dynamic queue system simply because of how horrid the person you're relying on to do their job can be. While I'm certainly not LCS quality and I can admit my mistakes, watching my Lucian dash into a Leona for "free harass" while I'm in the river warding is just too painful to keep going through.
