New Mechanic: Abduction

So with the Assassin rework around the corner it got me thinking about how to make assassins fun yet have good counter play. What if there was a champion that had a mechanic where they could leap to a enemy and then leap away with the enemy. Though this would be cool on someone like Kha who needs his targets isolated so maybe for example he tags someone with his W and they get a mark he can pop the mark with a auto or maybe a evolved E which causes the enemy to become stuck to him kinda like skarner ult for a short (.5-1 seconds) period of time. this allows players to react to it along with giving a assassin a rewarding opportunity to blowup their target.

If they positioned poorly then yes maybe but that is a risky play with lost of room for error but no different than a blitz grabbing someone really you actually have to be in their team

the difference is blitz grab is a skill shot so it can be dodged what your saying is oh zed ulted me and grabed me into his team wow much counter play all he has to do is run up to you and ult and now your dead no matter what positioning you have he will grab you same with talon. Leblanc has 2 dashes that lets you blink back. I dont think this will be put in the game.

I feel like you are not saying anything that says its a bad mechanic rather the kit it is put around. For instance a champ that needs to throw a skill shot to mark a target then pop the mark by being in melee range seems fair

So like Skarner's ult?

So like Skarner's ult?

No because the target would not be supressed just unable to move

But in practice it would be used the same?

No, it has WAAAYYY too much room to be abused and broken as hell. What you suggest is akin to LeBlanc W with Blitzcrank Q, and any good LeBlanc can get in and out without taking much of anything. All it takes is for said champion to create an instant kill box in the jungle or at the Baron or Dragon pits where it can dive in, snatch someone, and bring them back to your team where the proceed to murder them. It utilizes terrain too well, it isolates targets incredibly easily, and doesn't have counterplay. That isn't even factoring in the fact that you can just have the enemy push the lane and then snatch them under the turret. Even Kench has debilitating slows on himself when he's relocating an enemy, and he doesn't even have the potential to Flash, Ghost, or use Rocket Belt. This idea is just way too unbalanced and I can't see it being healthy in any way for the game, regardless of how fun it could be.
