People STILL don't understand winrate after all these years.

Suppose I'm a talon 1 trick.

I'm the only talon player in the entire world.

I win 65% of my games.

Therefore Talon has a 65% winrate.

Is he OP?

See how sample size matters?

The lower a champion's playrate, the higher their winrate should be, because ONLY their one-tricks and mains are the ones playing them.

When a champion has a high playrate AND high winrate, then they are statistically overpowered because even people who don't exclusively play them are winning more often than not.

Whenever a champion has a low playrate AND a low winrate, then they are weak because not even their one trick ponies are finding success.

According to OP.GG, Urgot's pick rate is #25 out of all Top lane champions. In other words he's not exactly pick or ban. People aren't playing him that much. You don't see him often.

Meanwhile champions like Gangplank and Camille are played 4-5x more often than Urgot while maintaining winrates above 51%. They are clearly overpowered.

I still don't get how people don't understand that "balance" would be terrible in LOL and its Trash for any Moba. Something has to stand out and shape a meta then what ever breaks that is what stands out as the next meta.

Chasing after what others do is something I find boring AF. Build your own playstyle, look to whats the meta, try to break it and counter it rather then be one of the players flocking to Tier lists, Pro/streamer advice on OMG X IS SO OP WTF RITO. On the flips side 1 tricking is also terrible when the only thing your good with is in a bad spot because your disadvantaged all of the time. Ideally build a champion pool up that your good with and enjoy playing. When your consistently doing well and cant transition that to wins shelf the champ until you see a meta shift you feel favors it, Be that champ gets a buff, their counters get nerfed, or the champ they counter best becomes FOTM. Invest in yourself, its a moba FFS, Guides, walkthrus? that's garbage. At best you learn key mechanics.

Well that's just my 2 cents.
