And now another armor penetration item is being added that also has a mini Zed ultimate on it. Those items will have a total of 40 flat armor penetration, not including last whisper, black cleaver or runes/masteries. Is armor even going to be worth it? Or should I just stack damage and hope for the best. Armor penetration is essentially what makes an AD assassin what they are, I feel that they already have this.

Penns3 votes is pretty bad on assassins, is pretty much just built sometimes because, unlike mages 
, they actually have no other options and isnt an "item". So yeah.

Last whisper items are bad on assassins because they do not provide what you need to actualy assassinate and the Black Cleaver is NOT and assassin item. It's just that we have nothing really core to build after youmu's. All we have to build apart from youmous are the common AD items between all AD classes, Marksmen fighters and Bruisers. Black cleaver is the only item that has a good amount of CDR and all other items have 10%. The only real assassin item has only 10% cdr which is too low... So, they really need to make more Assassin items and differentiate Assassins from the rest of the AD champions...
