its like the community wants you to leave a game so it can punish you for leaving

so a particularly bad game is going on, no one doing good. top and mid are so angry at everyone else even though theyre both doing just as bad. flaming everyone. eventually jg starts raging too. after 20 minutes of this toxic i asked if we could surrender. top mid and jg decide to hold the game hostage and flame everyone some more (just crying in all chat, trying to 1v5 because hey, games lost anyway). forgive me for not wanting to stay in a game i know for a fact will not be won, and is being stalled out for as long as possible just to add to the toxic experience.

the enemy team stopped pushing so that we could keep coming out and die, all while laughing at how toxic the team is.

sorry im not staying for anything like that. its the exact opposite of why i play league of legends. to have fun.

It's so depressing I know. Sometimes you just gotta vent to friends to get it out of your system. The mute button for toxic players normally works because they're usually the ones that are keeping you from making a comeback.

I once had a team where Karthus and Zilean went bot lane, and they dubbed it "the kill lane". The only thing they ended up killing were our chances of winning because neither of them got any kills, and got zoned hard. I've learned anytime someone claims to be a pioneering meta breaker in my games, and that they're gonna create a new pick, they end up being a troll.

I start having a disagreement with our jungler because I've helped him so much with jungling, and he refuses to come to my lane in a very rude way when I'm getting camped so much. Our mid lane steps in and just tells him to help my lane because there are 4 people on top, and I cannot safely stay by my turret. The Zilean took that opportunity to become incredibly toxic because he said we were "ganging up" on our jungler.

Zilean starts saying mid lane, who was carrying us, and I were children that threw the game the moment we walked out. Then he started talking about gross sexual stuff which creeped me out, especially if he thought we were minors. I end up wanting to surrender after I make a slight comeback with our Akali, but we both end up getting crushed by bot lane. The three toxic players hold us hostage so we can keep dying more.

That's the most depressing part. I feel so weird sitting in shop. I guess it makes me feel like a griefer or someone who AFKs when I do that, so I understand that pressure. My best advice for you is to just farm, and don't put yourself at risk if you can help it. Eventually the game will end and you can report.
