Balance for Draft VS. Blind picks.

There are different balances for the different maps, right? So how about instead of nerfing champs simply based on their ability to be counter-picked. (Yi, Kat, Zed, Ekko, etc.), we still do that for Draft BUT ALSO balance them separately based on whether it's a Draft pick or not.

Because it's stupid as hell when we opted not to wait a year for a Leona support to show up when it's not her free week, and get punished for not having infinity hard CC moves when the enemy happened to pick a high-damage assassin that needs hard CC to stop. Or you simply can't ban the champion because it's blind.

In before, "then just play Draft mode." That takes just as long as waiting for specific champions and it's not guaranteed I'll get the role I want. It takes much longer to set up a draft pick game. If I didn't care about time or getting the role I want, then I'd do that.

There are many champs that are considered to not be Overpowered _only _ because in a draft pick they're easy to counter. But that only proves that Balance for a Blind pick should not be the same, just like it's not the same for 3's, ARAM, or Dominion.

TL;DR: Champions should be balanced differently between draft and blind pick modes because in blind picks the overbearing champions with counters only have a small chance at just happening to be countered by the team you have, and that ruins diversity for NORMALS, which should never be the case.

EDIT: If you don't play Normal Blind or TB, DON'T reply or vote at all on the subject. It doesn't apply to you. The point here is the complete **lack of counterpicking ** and banning in the game modes.

**Don't try to argue that it's good for practice for a person to play a champion who will either get banned or countered but is really strong when the enemy didn't have any clue they'd be fighting that champion. **

No. The whole point of blind pick is just to pick a champion you want to play around with or work on and quickly get into a game. Not only will this be a nightmare for the balance team, but then you'll be using champions that are different based on whether you pick blind or draft. It's not really something we need.

If you want to work on a champion for ranked, you play Draft for real practice. You're saying you want to encourage playing champions that are either broken or top-ban.

I dunno, i think at least for teambuilder there should be an option to select a champion you do not want to play in a game against, that would save you a little heartache at least.

This is the second worst idea ever, with the first one being Kalista.

nah Runeglaive was a worse idea over those two.

Pretty sure riot has thrown out pre map champion balance at this point. The only thing that changes currently is certain types of items, twisted and dom even shar their special items.

Bad idea and even a worse poll. You are attempting to force votes your way by using the word "fun"

They haven't. You're just encouraging people to play champs that are either broken and top-ban or broken and easily countered when there's the option to counter them.

Since you cannot counter, Blind Pick is about building an effective team comp. Your team has to make sure that it can handle a variety of situations and has at least a little bit of CC.

Riot doesn't need to balance them more, players need to think about their gameplay more.
