Does anyone else hate ARAM now, who used to love it?..

After the changes made just how random things are.. given the ability to pick a lot more easily - from what your teammates give up. It just lost it's magic.. not to mention the amount of 1 sided stomps have increased dramatically.

Aram used to be one of my favorite game modes, and now I avoid it like the plague.. have a lot of friends who feel the same way. My buddies and I used to play it as a just all fun casual game mode to fuck around in, and play whenever we didn't feel like going too seriously in norms or ranked, or even just because it sounded more fun than rift atm.

But now it's like.. what the fuck is the point? Plus it's so much more competitive now for no reason..

For one, the ability to pick and choose so easily completely disrupts the entire concept of 'random', even with rerolls it was still all random.

And for two, the worst part, and probably single thing that makes it so disgusting to even think about to me now.. is the fact that BECAUSE people can choose so easily, Aram has turned in absolute one sided stomps like 80% of the time. Before it was maybe 1 sided stomp 25% of the time.. but the ability to craft decent team comps (which people are apparently more concerned about it aram than rift/ranked for some reason), has made it so difficult to have decent matches..

What are the chances Riot will ever revert the changes made to the aram picks pool and remove it?

My experience with it is exactly the opposite.

The bench has allowed me to pick what compliments my team the most and that has led to almost 0 stomps.

7,5k ARAMS played since season 2.

It was never bad (after getting kinda high in the aram MMR ladder) but especially with the bench it's great and I am not scared of rolling something worse than what I originally had. I always use both rolls to have options.

I used to love, and I still love it. You just gotta change your playstyle, depending on the enemy team and your team. If you know you won't get kills 'cause you're with 3 adc's, try going support or whatever :) I still really like the mod!

After the changes I love ARAM even more than I loved it before. I have no need for any other game mode; ARAM is the best one for me. (I do dabble in Poro Kings when the event is on, just to be able to train some specific champion I am not that used to play yet, so maybe I am not 100% pure ARAM only player)

Whether you love or hate it, it is still better than Summoner's rift has been since 8.10.

The ARAM pick pool is great but at the same time means you really do go up against more bullcrap teams than every before. Can't remember the last time I had a 35 minute slogfest in the mode since the change because each team felt fair. The team with the most poke wins still.

I'm with you, I miss old aram... its dream teams every time now... I can't even have fun, look at op.gg's win%'s... Theres people with above 65% win rates and that was unheard of a couple seasons ago. It used to be like top tier was 55%?
