So last night in a ranked game..

Played on my smurf with two of my friends, who are both plat 5, and we get matched against a bunch of mid plats. Our support and jungler appear to be solo players while the support was plat V but for some god forsaken reason, the jungler was gold 4. It's not like he had high MMR, he had a 49% winrate with 500 ranked games played this season. Of course he didn't do well because was basically playing in a game an entire tier above his own.

Why is this a thing? I understand when they have extremely high mmr but this guy didn't have high mmr. Either match making in dynamic queue is completely fucked because this isn't the first time this has happened or the guy was duo with the support and there just needs to be a 3 division limit the same in diamond across all elos. I don't blame the gold 4 player and quite frankly we still almost won because we were carrying but we lost the game because he kept getting caught or would be bot while baron was up and we'd just bleed out objectives. I'm not good enough to overcome a bad teammate and that shouldn't matter, a gold 4 shouldn't be in a game full of plat 5s-3s.
