How to make support items truly for support only.

(When I say support items I mean relic shield, spellthief, and ancient coin).

So in the past support items were bought by non support roles to abuse certain mechanics they had. This resulted in them being nerfed and had a consequence on them being worse for the supports to where they can’t have the stats they need.

My idea is that we give them a shared unique passive similar to Haste on the 3 mage items where only 1 person on each team can buy the item.

Obvious commenter- “But couldn’t a troll buy the item first to sabotage the support and prevent them from having the item”.

Yes they could so my next idea is to also give the items a second part of the unique passive. Here is my description:

“ Before 5 minutes anyone can buy the item like any other item, however once those 5 minutes expire, the item will disappear for every player on each team except for the player on each team with the least CS and becomes unbuyable for everyone else on the team.

If multiple players have the same CS then it will remain for the player who has been near an ally for a longer time in the game.

If multiple players have been around an ally for the same amount of time then it will remain for the player who has been in bot lane longer.

If multiple players have been in bot lane for the same amount of time, near an ally for the same amount of time and have the same cs, then the item will remain on the player that queued support in champ select.”

Yes I know the description is super long so of course the whole thing won’t need to be in the description of the item.
