Does Leblanc trade samething for her doubledash respect sameone like brand? Does Kalista trade samething for her mobility?or she trade samething being the better version of varus? Does LeeSin trade samething for his mobility?or he trade samething outdamaging and outclassing all junglers? Does Nidalee trade samething for her mobility?or she trade samething having more poke than lux? Does Zed trade samething for his mobility?or he trade samething being the better version of talon? Does Vi trade samething for her mobility?or she trade samething being the better version of skarner and ww And So on Riot seems to bring out this policy only on kassadin (" kassadin has to trade samething for his mobility") what about all the others?

Ezreal does and riot has said so several times, but a lot of champs don't seem to. There's a reason why Ezreal has the lowest possible movespeed and has Anivia level hp

Just want to add trying to catch ahri... a ranged mage character, as a melee fighter. was garen in particular, even with upgraded boots and spamming my Q could NOT catch her. all while she is dealing tons of damage while flowing around the map. kind of a joke. i get that some champions have "jump" moves. but it's annoying when your an archetype counter and cant catch the scissors when your rock...

the problem lies in the design vs ballance designg does fun champion by owerloading them with usefull stuff, like mobility and cc and utility

shit hits the fan once that stuff comes to ballance if we take away their statistics, their damage and tanyness then they cant fight anyone, the have loads of stuff but just cant compete without proper numbers behind that stuff, and they cant capitalize on the advantages their kits give them

so in the end champions with overloaded kits who have both mobility and cc or even more stuff dont lose any numbers for it

so design team goes ham cause they think that ballance team can just fix their shenanigans with number nerfs

so in te end le blanc deals similar single target dmg to brand, less aoe dmg but still meaningfull amount, has mobility, and better cc while brand just deals better aoe dmg, and thats it, he is inferion in any other way (he can match lb's single target dmg output but lb is better at assasinating kit wise)

Generally, the "trade" a mobile champion makes should be range. So you HAVE to get in range with your mobility spells (or catch someone out of position) in order to damage them. Unfortunately, this is not really true at the moment, with a few exceptions (Lux and Xerath as your typical long-range immobiles) -- for example, Brand's ranges are 900/900/625/750, Malzahar's are 900/800/650/700... Ahri's ranges are 880/550/975/450, and Leblanc's are 700/600/950/???.

Ahri's and Leblanc's E outrange everything Brand or Malzahar can throw at them. This is the problem.

TL:DR mobility should be paid for by shorter ranges (since the mobility makes it easier to get in, poke, and get out). This is not currently the case, with the exception of long-range cannons like Lux and Xerath.
