PSA: Auto attacking a buff twice is not a leash.

You aren't going to miss an entire wave because you actually gave me a good leash. I can't tell you how muh it will effect the rest of my game, but most likely I will be behind if you do not leash. I can tell you who is lower on my gank radar than other lanes though.

If I'm the top laner and you're trying to get me to leash for you, you should probably be aware that I won't be sticking around. Losing experience from missing minions on the wave means my enemy gets to level 2 ahead of me, and that can outright lose me the lane.

So yeah, I'll give you a good leash if I can. But don't expect me to stick around anywhere near as long as a bot lane might.

Same w/ mid. Sometimes bot, too, actually ,depending on how fast the enemy can push waves

I always try to give a good leash, but I don't know if the jg is gonna smite or not, and if they do they might fuck it up and I get the buff...

Just walk away at approximately 500-400 hp if they haven't smited already. If you deal a DOT then walk away at like 600 hp. If they have smited already walk away at like 300 health.

I stick around till 500-700 hp, based on who the jungler is, and if they smite early. Getting to lane a second or two early as support sets me up better to harass the early CS, netting us a quicker lvl 2 powerspike.

I will lose the opportunity to push the first wave though, and this can be a big deal in certain matchups, especially in top lane.
