Why playing Shaco when

No this is not a "raging" thread. I'm not a Shaco player, I was just wondering : What does have Shaco that others don't have but in a better way ? I mean he's an melee assassin being AA-reliant (aka item reliant), his E barely deals any damage and his "burst" is being mono-target with a relatively high CD.

He has a stealth ? 5 of the ones mentionned do, and 4 of them have it in a spammable way. He has mobility ? 5 of the ones mentionned do. He has an escape / self peeling tool ? 5 of the ones mentionned do.

I'm just wondering, if any Shaco player here can tell me how do they feel about the current Shaco.

Cancer, Shaco has cancer. Shaco players don't play Shaco for his power, or his stealth, or his boxes (ok, maybe for the boxes). Shaco players play Shaco because they want to watch the world burn. They know their champion's kit from the ground up does nothing but draw out the inner most salt from players. Their ability to gank from a multitude of different positions, their tendecies to camp lanes, their counter jungling into split pushing. Shaco players embrace the asshole that is being the clown.

unlike the others, his early game is pretty uncontested, hands down, when it comes to ganking. he has free hard CC, and his stealth is also a blink, meaning he can come in from the most obnoxious gank paths. evelynn's charm has to cook, vayne is only for a second or two and is only present during an ult, kaynes gives a visual que, and twitch isn't even a champ until 2-3 big items.

rengar and khazix don't get theirs until 6, but khazix could arguably be the best lategame because of how insane his burst is.

but the thing about shaco is that he can fear you towards his opponent while critting you with his backstab passive, making him an excellent early game jungler, but falls off hard because of his lack of CC compared to other junglers.

then you know how your allies sometimes are tilted asf, and either afk, int, or just overall play poorly because they got camped? yeah, shaco is a pro at making that happen.
