Aurelion Sol's stars do proc spell vamp, Rylai's etc, though at the AOE values.

1-800-PLS-NERF for the assistance of a dragon from space.

Upvoted for the word art.

can you please change rylais to dot values? 40% slow on that is massively opressive, especially vs melees.

Aurelion (from what I can tell) is supposed to thrive by being able to trap enemies at a range where he can hit them but they can't hit him.

This will be an interesting balancing act (get it like a tightrope but also because game balance)

item 3151 item 3116

He the new Singed.

charcharmunro1 votes

I think Singed still outclears him and generally has better solo-laning ability. Aurelion might end up a jungler, to be honest. And Jungle Singed... Exists, but it's not great, so... Y'know.

jdizzle3671 votes

You can pull the camps to a relatively clear area and walk clockwise around the creeps you can clear the jungle fairly quickly and with barely any damage.

I was thinking his stun is two seconds, he can drive it from far away. So if he goes Sated Devourer and builds like Jungle Kayle- he might be downright painful to fight off...

D2Vincent1 votes

tbh I was thinking he'd be the new Karthus...just without the Global Ult :P

AoE so it might not be that great. Still though, item 3151 item 3116 item 3152 sounds amazing on him.

Do I sense free spellvamp?

Any spells, except spells that specifically only trigger on-hit effects (or are only on-hit effects on their own), proc spell effects. It doesn't mean you can get FREE spell vamp. It only means you can buy any items that come with spell effects. His passive is essentially an AOE spell, which cuts spell vamp into 1/3.

Zero Skill Tank9 votes

Free as in: it won't use up mana or cooldowns.

The Governer6 votes

Okay so a passive that requires him to actually stand at a fixed short (almost melee) distance from the enemy(-ies) to benefit from spell vamp (Note that enemies standing inside his orbit or outside his orbit are not affected by his passive) without using mana or cooldown pretty doesn't benefit much from spell vamp as much as you think, aside from the fact that this spell only benefits Aurelion Sol for 1/3 of spell vamp.

Shroom Junkie3 votes

He can still heal off minions.

The Governer5 votes

Any champions with the ability to trigger spell effects can. The question is: whether it is worth it or not. For Aurelion Sol, all of his damaging abilities are AOE, rendering spell vamp much less useful.

You are better off getting Rylai's Crystal Scepter and probably Liandry's Torment if you want to make use of his passive. Liandry may not be even worth it.

Photos of Ghosts2 votes

3 minions and you've made up for the 1/3 effectiveness of spellvamp. His Q can take a whole wave plus the Champion.

and his w......

The Governer5 votes

Then it is not exactly free because toggling W on costs mana.

Spaceman5pff1 votes

Yeah but leaving it at small mode is free of any mana charge

kile1471 votes

You seem to think he's saying its OP. He might be but he could just be saying that spellvamp will be strong on him like life steal is strong on auto attackers, because he can naturally proc it without having to wait on cool downs or resources, similar to autos.

EvilRabbitt1 votes

Or free as in from the mastery page? :P

Spoofghoul2 votes

will this item 3004 work? becuase if it does

ADRELIAN SOL incoming

Sire Hippington2 votes

manamune is not a spellproc, it procs on physical only, and also only on singletarget, so nope, it certainly won't proc on his passive, as it's magical aoe.

Darkwind2 votes

Physical only is wrong. Any single target spell or attack will proc Muramana.

For example, Ahri's W applies it three times; each foxfire is considered single target.

Muramana, back when it used to do magic damage, was actually a viable item for both Ryze and Syndra

SH Azykan2 votes

muramana syndra was awesome, really wish that build still worked q_q

Spoofghoul1 votes

still does but its physical damage

Getting both muramana and seraphs gives soooo much ap

SH Azykan1 votes

the build is terrible now though. It takes too long to scale and falls off at the same time because it doesn't work with m.pen items. Stacking both takes way too long and better off with her normal build.

Yes you can still build it, but you really shouldn't, where before it was actually a decent item on her

The Governer2 votes

I don't think it's the same case with Aurelion Sol.

Aurelion Sol's passive is essentially a permanent Diana's W without shield. Diana's W is an AOE spell.

Ahri's W is single-target spell only because the orbs auto-aims itself at target(s) one at a time with priorities. I don't think it works the same as Aurelion Sol's passive.

Darkwind1 votes

You are correct; I was just pointing out that there are spells that are non-physical that proc Muramana.

Sire Hippington1 votes

ahh, yea, mixed that shit up, they changed the proc to physic damage back when it was abused from syndra rather than haveing it proc of physic only

Anomander1 votes

it is considered aoe so no

The Deckowner2 votes

i can see the infinte kiting protential.

Meep Man1 votes

Well, kind of? I guess it's like Life Steal on him.
