Rageblade Changes Completely Murder AP Onhit Builds
The most infuriating thing is that Kai'Sa is the least nerfed from these changes. For starters, %penetration is better against armor than against MR because champs naturally get more armor.
15% armor penetration damage amp: Against 50 Armor targets = 5.4% Against 85 Armor targets = 7.4% Against 120 Armor targets = 8.9% Against 200 Armor targets = 11.1% Against 300 Armor targets = 12.7%
15% MR penetration damage amp: Against 30 MR targets = 3.6% Against 42 MR targets = 4.6% Against 85 MR targets = 7.4% Against 120 MR targets = 8.9% Against 200 Armor targets = 11.1%
Further agravated by the fact that Nashors is much worse against tanks than his brethren IE or BotRK because Adaptive Cancer exists and how IE/BotRK bypass tank mechanics. 1- You can stack both Adaptive Helm and attackspeed slows to gut magical onhit dps. 2- Adaptive Helm destroys magical DPS from skills too, not only AA. 3- IE Crit gets true damage conversion to ignore the added armor from Randuins/FH/Thornmail and even Tabi/base armor.
BotRK bypasses Randuins/Tabi crit/AA reduction, and scales with health also lowers ability DPS. Randuins is more brutal against Crit DPS, but they get true damage conversion that even if it still gets lowered by a % it still completely bypasses armor and abilities still do damage. On-hit from bloodrazor/botrk bypasses the Randuins crit reduction. The only aggravator with magical on-hit DPS are %HP damage like Kog'Maw or Kai'Sa, which get the best of both worlds paying a price elsewhere on their kits (well Kog does XD).
15% Bonus AD/AP The 15% Bonus AD/AP needs more math and depends from champ to champ. Yi is crying somewhere while some champs don't care much. This would also need to factor in base values.
0.1BAD on-hit ratio scaling and +15%BAD on AD champions For AD builds that 0.1BAD ratio (0.15 with Guinsoo's Rage) is like a minicrit. It scales from bonus AD, so while it adds damage it's not as big as the +15% bonus AD, but together those two stack for a grand total of 1.288 bonus AD ratio instead of 1. Quite scary tbh. And you can stack it with crit (altho "only" the 1.15 bonus). Any squishy who gets in range of this will instadie, and tanks would probably endure little while technically botrk/crit are intended as anti-tank measures. AD heavy builds without crit lose 28.8% bonus AD scaling. Builds with fullcrit lose 12% BAD scaling. Builds relying on BotRK/Runaans/BotRK are just midly nerfed, and in some very specific scenarios (like bloodrazor+guinsoos hitting an armored target) even slightly buffed.
0.1AP on-hit ratio scaling and +15%AP on Nashor users This is not a nerf, it's more like an aggravated assault XD For AP builds that 0.1AP ratio is not just a mini-crit. It is about 1/4th of their scaling alone. Nashors gives .15, their base kits give .3 or .25. From [0.55 or 0.5] down to [0.45 or 0.4]. (22.2% or 25% of their AP scaling just gone).
They also lose 15% bonus AP, which they don't mitigate with base AD (altho they do have base damage). Combined they make a whopping 36.88% of their AP scaling gone (1.222x1.15). The worst thing is that Kayle has no way to bypass these nerfs. She can't opt into other builds. She just deals 20% less damage. AP builds are hit the hardest. None of this even factors in Adaptive Cancer, which is brutal against AP DPS builds.
Nashor builds totally depend on that phantom hit to scale their DPS. They need to stack it. They can't poke with Stattikk/Duskblade/Stormrazor because LichBane is shit until you have 400 AP, except it doesn't even give enhanced DPS (attackspeed) or the mad utility from duskblade (redtrinket/slow). I'm fine with LB being a burst item, I'm just pointing out Nashors champs don't have many alternatives.

and
, armor penetration seems like a nerf for him considering he already has a lot of true damage from his E IE and Conqueror already.
What I don't like is how the item has AD and AP ratios on already existing bonus physical and magic damage and double on hit damage.
Now they want to ad both armor and magic penetration too? This is rediculous.
wont be building it anymore.
