That really changed my views of supporting. A little backstory we had a trolling duo mid lane/jg. I was, of course in soloq with a gold 4 jinx who at first was very toxic to me, until i started getting her kills and she was like "Oh my god a support that peels for me yay" Needless to say i died more than id like to so i could peel .-. Eventually, i initiated fights as leona and jinx got 2 quadras and ended the game (We didnt have any dragons and i think we had 1 baron to their 2) But anyways, I have always hated supporting in ranked because i felt like i didnt make an impact, but it really gave me hope in the climb. I was able to ward safely and effectively in key areas and get jinx super fed early, which made me see that supports contribute a lot more than i thought e.e

Tl;Dr Sometimes you need to have 80 bad support games and get that really good 1 :D

lol why play a champ like leona and not go ham and engage and initiate? that is what she is for... she can be a good peel and protector but she is best used offensively. i had a game as leona where it looked like i was being stupid and feeding but i was taking deaths for carries so they didnt get shut down gold. i was diving the turrets making then enemy focus me and back from it so my team could siege it . i will gladly take a death as a support if that means my adc. or mid or other fed teammate dont... they provide more pressure and can do damage, gain more experience and gold and take objectives if i take the death and let them live. but your kda looks bad so it looks like you are being bad but its in the context of how the death happens.. sometimes the best thing to do is sacrifice your death for an ace or a baron etc

I usually initiated fights with my adc. But again the majority of my team was trolling so i just had to do everything i could for my carry
