Up until the guinsoo changes bruiser yi has been relatively balanced it just provides to much dmg and is like a perfect hybrid item(it helps with yi's healing)
but anyways ill believe what you say that this change is a possible glass cannon yi buff

Yes it was. Yi with Devourer and Bork has been doing the same thing he does now for months, rage blade only makes him spike earlier compared to bork.

That's what the juggernaut items and Guinsoo's allow the devour junglers to do: go two damage defensive builds, and still have a lot of damage. Before, if they just went BoRK devourer, they didn't deal that much damage, and quickly fell off. If they went more damage, then they dealt more, but could be bursted

Yeah the damage difference was what? 2 autoattacks? he was still the tanky DPS abomination he currently is and that's the problem.

ModWulf Helhammer1 votesIn the prior season, if a devourer jungler went sated Bork full defensives, they did not have team threatening damage much past mid game. In exchange, they had a bit more durability and could last longer, winning a war of attrition. Or they could go full glass cannon, have a ton of damage, but in exchange they would get whipped out instantly if they got caught.
Now, with the juggernaut items, they can have durability while getting some moderate damage, and then Rageblade provides all the rest. Rageblade may make him spike earlier, but it keeps him at this spike for much longer.
Dreadlocks1 votesDef not true... Botrk was nerfed which is just another reason other items are favored over it currently.. You could nerf titanic, rageblade what ever and there will just be a next best item that energizes too well with devourer. Point is, it's not worth nerfing a bunch of items when clearly devourer is the culprit.
