What is the point of teambuilder's matchmaking?

I was under the impression that teambuilder's matchmaking was supposed to match you with people who have played certain champions several times, hence the "matchmaking adjustment is inactive". Despite that, I get matched with people who are playing -insert champion name here- for the first time... and getting matched AGAINST people who know what they are doing.

Honestly, matchmaking is a bitch to me.

I think that it prioritizes mirror match ups in your first game or two with a champion. You know, so you can "see how it's done" or something like that.

Personally? Just another reason why I avoid Teambuilder.

The matchmaking use MMR (match making ranking) which is some sort of ELO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system) derivative. It gives some advantage to people who play a champ for the first few time (say 100 MMR) but it doesnt stop there.

I other words, you get matched with people who could most likely carry you pretty hard if they had one of their favorite champion but play with a champion they dont really know.
