I think that his "brokenness" comes from how everything he has scales AP, and fairly highly at that. Maybe if he had more of his passive/defensive (W and R) scalings switched over to maybe MR, Armor, or % Health like other tanks do. But keep his offensive only abilities (Q, E, and maybe his Passive) scale AP like normal. That way he needs to itemize for certain abilities to be strong, not just get a 
and let the stacks carry his entire kit's scalings.

Chaos Milk Tea1 votesHigh scaling champions tend to have a tough early game, coupled with an EXTREMELY powerful late game. A 70% ratio or higher on a moderate cool down will usually cause this. Right now ekko has good base AND high scaling, which is too hard to fight at all points and lets him build anything.
