fix'd. People do care about ARAM, but it isn't what the game is balanced around (or kept in mind when balancing.)

That's because in ARAM her mana regen is higher so she can spam and everyone gets more gold so she gets guaranteed items instead of being forced to babysit a carry or attempt to mid lane with no wave clear.

Early poke dominates ARAM and early poke is what Sona's got. Every champ in the game wrecks if they get a gold lead and ARAM is where Sona actually has a good chance at getting said lead.

In aram the map is small. Sona ult just destroys half the team. Then heal + speed + dmg. Early lvls that is boss Same with Summoners rift early lvls Late the team just gets a chance at hp

People who complain about her on SR are insane. Sure, she doesn't mitigate as much damage as on ARAM, or build as much AP, but poke, hard CC, easy heals.... come on. Cancer personified. All she needs is a Lichbane to poop out more damage than your APC. Gut this bitch, and the goat whore too. Healers were the worst thing to happen to this game, which is an impressive accomplishment.

Sona is OP, people just keep underestimating how much damage she brings to a team (even without Lichbane). In Aram she is a nightmare with how easy it is for her to apply her extra damage.

They also seem to under-estimate how stupidly good Ardent Censor is on Sona. It gives all the stats she wants, and makes her team take turrets much more easily. It's already gold-efficient alone, applying the boost to all of your allies makes it dangerously gold efficient.

Heck, it's in both the highest win rate build and most popular build in Plat+.
