assassins won't ever be meta in professional play again. it has been two years since assassins were meta in pro play. two years. you know what overlaps with that. the adc rework. aka the cancer rework. exactly two years ago.
am an assassin. my entire combo won't chunk 30% of a tank's hp. meanwhile you have an adc that does 300+ damage per auto attack. or vayne that 6 shots tanks

You're not supposed to be able to chunk tanks. ADCs are. Especially Vayne with %max HP true damage. You're supposed to be able to chunk squishies. But with the prevalence of supports like Janna and items like Ardent (that give larger shields), it's become much harder to do so. Especially when ADCs can burst you with a Shiv, IE and RFC.
Zenderana1 votesI see that you play alot of zed and idk if its your play style or what but it seems to me that you go straight for the adc is a predictable kind of way. yeah there may be a problem with vayne killing tanks really fast. But for zed you have a good gap closer that you can use from the fog of war to get to the adcs and kill them effectively. (also taking that this account is a smurf) Also another problem may be that you are not trying to bait out the enemies' ults and/or active items. one of the good things with zed is that you can blink in and out basically threatening a kill on the adc possibly making them burn flash or ult for nothing.
