Illaoi E and dft keystone interaction

It is a spell but if Illaoi has DFT it doesnt matter if she uses her spells or autos on the spirit the spirit gets dft but the player doesnt.

Bug or intended?

It's spell damage from the E causing it to go off. If an Illaoi is using DFT though then the player is stupid and should stop using the champion. Grasp is the only Keystone she ever requires because it gives her the most compared to the others.

It isnt stupid if the mastery gives insane amounts of damage to an entire enemy team

The only way Deathfire can give "insane amounts of damage" is if she went pure AD. Tank Illaoi and Off Tank Illaoi don't have enough stats to make the mastery worth it. Besides, the only champions that can use that mastery effectively are ones that have consistent and reliable damage with good stats or are Jhin.

most illaoi players I see build 3 AD items, I do too

it's a pretty strong mastery and given that grasp is all around mediocre I'm going to be switching to DFT and fervor next patch for my juggernauts

she can proc it easy but it always seemed counter intuitive seeing as her tentacles are static

maybe it's good with her ult though

mate. grasp is literally garbage. even fervor would be more useful on her, since she could get those 6 stacks decently fast.

after they they nerfed the keystone into the ground by cutting its sustain portion in half, its nothing but a little bit more than a single fervor proc before resistances evey 4 seconds. by the way, the highest win % builds for illaoi are using dft.

barely anyone is running grasp anymore. especially not juggernauts. i think darius is the only one still taking the mastery.

Darius will probably switch to fervor now that it's flat AD

speaking of fervor, garen should stack it on his spin so I can figure out what mastery to take now that soa is gone

wouldnt suprise me. the new ferocity tree is overpowered as shit for anyone who deals sustained damage. battle trance, the new fervor, etc.

What's with all the recent Illaoi posts lol. I've been maining her for a very long time now and people don't realize she is a lane bully.

Plenty of counterplay if you know what you're doing. Not punishing her for missing her E, does not make her OP. And going all in on her while her ult is up (and fighting in it) does not make her OP.

Do you fight in nunus ult?
