Singed mains, a fellow Singed main needs help.

Basically, last season I had a 70% winrate with Singed in ranked. This season, I'm having trouble climbing because I'm a one trick pony and I haven't been picking Singed.

I want to pick Singed more, but I'm getting pretty fucked by horrible matchups recently. The champions I'm struggling with primarily are Darius, Fiora, and Wukong. I want to know how to better survive these lanes, I can win them, but not consistently enough for how often these champions are picked.

How do I deal with all of these champions that are strong against singed being so popular right now?

I know I can get to gold this season, but I'm just so scared to play my main.

Hey there! So, first piece of advice is to ban your worst matchup, for me, it's Darius. Learn each matchup, figure out the mentality of the typical Fiora/Wukong/Darius player.

Fiora some things I can say about this, even though I'm still learning these matchups myself, is that Fioras will go aggressive and attempt to proc her true damage any time she can, remember this, especially when near your tower. If she pushes you in, and tries to poke you down, try to get in range and goo flip her into tower, or, if you can't goo flip, a regular flip will suffice(A goo flip will almost always guarantee a kill low level).

Darius A good Darius knows that they make a Singed's life a living hell, so they'll tend to sit inside the minion wave, slowly farming. The best thing to do in this matchup is ping for a gank, you can't solo him, and you should never try. An armor rush is great against him, and if you get Sunfire, hugging him will deal more damage. Things to note about Darius, it's near impossible to 1v1 him, so don't try. He'll win every time. Sorry about this one, I don't know any sure-fire ways to winning or even going even in this matchup. Go for proxies when you can, but remember, the level one proxy is extremely dangerous, and doesn't give you enough of a reward for doing it. Wait until at least level three to do it(or you can go at two, if you're a brave boy).

MonkeyKing For wukong, I don't know much. I've actually never played this matchup.

My typical build for Singed versus a mostly AD comp is: item 3742 item 3065 item 3116 item 3009 item 3512 item 3110 .

What I tend to build versus Darius: item 3068 item 3116 item 3742 Then the rest is dependant on the rest of the enemy team. If they're mostly AD for Full AD, I of course build more armor. With the Deadman's lategame, Darius, unless he's additional movement speed other than boots and Deadman's, you will almost always outrun him.

As long as you farm, and try your best to not feed, your lategame will be far better. If any of these counters realize that you're playing too safe to kill, they'll start roaming, at this point, push like crazy, and ensure that the mid or bot knows that they're roaming. ( Ping Missing on your lane and danger on their lanes.)

Bonus tip! If you are a risk taker, build item 1082 and item 2031 , do a level one proxy, back or execute(whichever comes first), then finish the refillable potion by turning it into item 2033 . It gives you amazing sustain in lane. If you do this, make sure to get the mastery which increases potion effectiveness.

Honestly? Either ban those that you struggle the most against ( Fiora fits good because many still ban her) or learn how they act. Overall, you surely know that you play these lanes passive and just farm safe. Try to bait them into sling range towards your Tower.

Fiora should be the easiest to bait, as she ALWAYS wants to proc her true dmg marks. Try to do this as early as possible as the Tower dmg will be insanely high even when only hit twice. MonkeyKing Same as Fio, but harder to bait. But since he should have used E to Attack, he should have no Escape besides summoner 4 . W is ignorable in the Tower since it has True Sight. Darius . Honestly, get your Jungler to camp your Lane. Either that, or just hope you dont feed. Unbaitable, since he pulls you towards him. Worst Matchup of these 3.

So sorry that i cant help another Singed Fan more. But these are the only advises i can give that aren´t obvious. I dont know your Build Choices, but ill just write mine down, too. Just in case. My favorite Build on Singed is Movementpeed focused. Against Fiora, Wukong and Darius, unfortunately, Singed Struggles, and it's mainly because of how these champion's kits are built. Fiora's passive is great for her to dart in, do a chunk of damage, and dart back out, until she thinks it's safe for her to Ult and all-in. Darius and Wukong both have armor pen built into their passive, and both build an early black cleaver, making it that much harder on someone who normally focuses a tankier build and favors armor.

That said, There are a lot of armor items out there that DO help Singed, even against these sorts of champions. Stacking HP/Armor does wonders, so any item that offers both, or AP/HP like Rylai's are fantastic.

A good counter-build for singed against Darius would be something along the lines of: item 3068 (Farming, Health, AOE damage to him to stack with Poison). item 3143 (Slows how quickly Darius can AA-proc his Bleed Stacks), item 3009 (Reducing the slow on his W), item 3056 (So his turret pulls are less effective), item 3742 (Gotta go fast bruh, also Fling+Deadman's AA) and finish the build with item 3116 to help kite him out.
