Ezreal is not trash anymore?

As part of the 7.16 update, Riot is buffing Ezreal's Q damage from dealing 110% AD to 125% which is a pretty decent amount if you ask me. Obviously, AD carries like Twitch and Tristana will still reign but I think it's a nice change.

What do you think? Are these buffs meaningful? Answer in the polls.

I'll still take any other adc over him on my team.

This is a tough meta for him. He will probably see much more play when the meta changes away from tanks.

good buff, building AD item will be good on him now

Still terrible. Unless he starts scaling with crit or one of his items gets buffed, he will remain trash.

Well unless Riot made it so that his W isn't trash and that his Q could at least crit for 120% damage, I'm still only gonna use him outside of ranked. Right now, he's still the worst AD carry just because his kit doesn't synergize with the things that make ADC's so strong in the meta: Attack Speed, Crit and the ability to shred through anybody's HP in less than 5 seconds.

At least with Corki, he has mixed damage to cope up with the other ADC's.

Won't change anything really. EZ doesn't build a bunch of AD like other champs instead he goes with the blue build giving him BoTRK/Triforce/Muramana/armor pen/lucidity boots/GA is a typical EZ build, some still go IBG but not many.

His issues are not related to his scaling, his issues are related to cost of his builds. Blue build was used for a strong mid game spike but tended to fall off late game, but it also costed around 1k less than the average 2 item builds, Muramana+IBG would cost EZ around 5200 gold, while other carries would need IE+Zeal item which tended to run around 6200 gold. With the changes in cost IE+zeal item is comes online much sooner while Triforce+muramana is closer to 6100 negating the old advantages he had.

his problem is not his Q. His problem is Riot thinking his kit needs to revolve COMPLETELY around it, which forces him into a tear build, which is like an auto lane loss since about 4 patches ago.

And for some reason they are pretty adamant about refusing to do something useful with his W.

Anyway, my personal thought is adding something to his passive that boosts his abilities as well as his auto attack speed--it is called Rising Spell Force after all (not rising auto attack force). Maybe drop mana costs by like %15 for every stack, so he can keep casting in fights without having to build an EFFING TEAR
