Isolationism

So... The point of an assassin is to pick a squishy target in a teamfight and kill them, right?

So why is it Kha'zix only gets the damage to do so when there are no other enemies nearby? That isolation thing would've been a nifty idea if it didn't require your enemies to never be together. It should be scrapped altogether and replaced with just a flat damage between the two.

Diving the squishy backline is a teamfight strategy. Kha'Zix is capable of this, but thrives outside of team fights with his roaming.

Nope.

Assassins aren't about that life.

Assassins are about picking off targets that are isolated and killing them.

If you watch a lot of assassin-heavy games from season 3, you'll notice the general strategy in those is

  1. ward the entire map.
  2. jump on people that are alone. Which you can easily tell where and when, because you warded the entire map.
  3. Push a 5v4 advantage to take an objective.
  4. keep repeating this process.

So why is it Kha'zix only gets the damage to do so when there are no other enemies nearby?

Because that's the exact play style assassins are supposed to have.

So your justification for Kha being so weak against groups is that he's the only true assassin? So why is it every other one can just pick a target any time and destroy them? They aren't assassins? I know people roam, but his Isolate factors in minions too. The way I see it, he should ALWAYS do the greater damage to minions and monsters, and only do it to non-grouped enemies. That'd be fair, right?
