For all of you ADC idiots who will not build Executioner's Calling vs a massive healing team

JavelinJoe··46 votes·2,456 views

SFTU and build that item ASAP. I DO NOT CARE if you plan to build item 3033 as your 4th or 5th item. You better grab that 800 golds worth of necessity in the early game so the game lasts long enough where you actually get to building that 4th or 5th item. If you are against a Sona Soraka Swain Warwick Vladimir DrMundo Fiddlesticks Nami etc... you NEED that healing reduction early.

Mmm that feeling when you pick up a item 3123 on MonkeyKing when the enemy team has Swain Soraka

Spinning that GW onto their entire team.

Glorious.

item 3033 : not doing a good job of reminding others of mortality.

That's because until you finish the item, you're just whispering it.

just saying, sona heals are about 30-50 early, even with windspeakers. but soraka, vlad, illaoi etc. I build it every time

i love it when my adc goes.. "I DONT HAVE ENOUGH GOLD"

and im like.. THEN SELL SOMTHING.

item 3123 is more important vs those champs than your freaking item 1038 sword is.

Ackelope10 votes

i'd say its better to wait for them to have enough gold to buy another item... selling an item is very rarely gold-efficient, and executioner's calling is cheap enough that it's better to just get enough gold to buy it.

YFisfabulousBRUH15 votes

oh HELL THE FUCK NO. im not selling a 1300 gold item for a 900 gold item.

Snowplosion3 votes

*800 gold item. It's even less value

DeathBot6661 votes

But if you think about it, item 3123 is only 25 AD less than item 1038. So the enemy only needs a measly 50 health regen per second and for you to have a 1.0 attack speed, then they are healing 25 health less per second, and you will be doing the same amount of damage, for 500 less gold.

Ackelope1 votes

so just save up the relatively meager 800 gold you need to buy it. it's really inefficient to sell the bf sword, especially since it'll get built into something later on. unless you're in some super immediate circumstance, it's better to wait and save up for items that cost that little.

relatively meager 800 gold

item 3070 Janna item 3070

sorry... i'm an ADC main myself, so I guess I've indoctrinated myself to the point I consider all costs relative to an ADC income...

In my last game enemy team had Darius Sona XinZhao /Ashe Yasuo (had warlords and typically build a bloodthirster like 3rd/4th item)

I played riven and we have a varus adc. When the game started I told him he can build executioners or I can, and its a mid game necessity but not really early. He decided to build it mid game when we needed it, I was so happy. T_T (we won)

Oh, the irony. Bet it's the same people who tell supports to build sightstone :I

JavelinJoe7 votes

I mean, they should also.

IcyPepper2 votes

Hence the irony. You'd expect the person telling another to buy an essential item that adds a strategic asset for your team instead of the one with big numbers... to buy the strategic item that's an asset for the team over the one with big numbers.

It's... we've all seen this happen.

Shit man, even as Garen or Yorick , I grab that shit item 3123 if we need it.

Zerenza2 votes

If i'm playing, Yorick, Fiora or Camille and my enemy laner is healing A LOT i WILL get an executioner's as my 3rd item usually after a core item, like Sheen or something, cause there is no way their going to win a fight with you after that.

rampaging poet1 votes

Same. I was against a team with Darius and Soraka . Asked the ADC to build it twice with no response and picked it up myself in the midgame. They finally built item 3035 5th item - then upgraded to item 3036. [zombie-nunu-bummed]

I mean if you already built it there is not much point In them building it anymore.

TBH, a item 3139 is gunna help you more vs Vlad than an executioner's calling.

Item is overrated vs Vlad.

What you have to worry about with Vlad is him 100-0ing your squishies when CR is up. An item that stops him from 100-0ing you AND lets you lifesteal off of him after? Now that's money.

Other champions you mentioned are much more heavily affected by GW.

I'd much rather you spend 800g for 10 AD and a marginal, short-lived decrease to my laning power (I'm not all-inning or letting you all-in me during laning. Ever.) than something that would allow you to bulldoze me, like MR or another longsword or two.

I'm much more afraid of 20 more damage on autos, and 30-80 more damage from a non-ult combo than I am of the 20-50 healing you'll be reducing before level 9. Srsly, GW vs Vlad early is a trap. The pressure you get from more AD, or even just a hexdrinker+mercs (MS/MR are op vs vlad early) is MUCH greater than the marginal decrease to healing. The healing decrease is only more useful if you already have a lot of pressure on him...in which case you don't need it anyway.

Again, this is in regards to Vlad, not the more sustained/on-demand healing that other champions usually have.

That is such a toxic item, I wish it would just be removed

Fuck, I will build item 3123 on my Leona supp after my sightstone if that nami/soraka/sona is getting too cocky with their heals.

notice me Sin pi1 votes

but u g2 poke with a physical damage to continuously apply grevious wound... wait leona doesnt have poke

Autrah Fang1 votes

i mean, if supports can spare 800g every game for a item 2049 , the least the ADC can do is use 800g for an item 3123 when against a team with a heavy healing champion...

You just used logic.

That is your problem.

Randoms NEVER do what's logical.
