Is it me or does Nocturne feel really bad to play right now

I used to have so much fun playing him, and now just... ew. He feels almost pointless to play now. Why pick him? I'm not doing anything astounding. Build damage on him and he gets blown up. Build tanky and you just lumber around in fights doing nothing. Seems like the only effective way to play him is a subpar splitpusher.

He's an older champion and it's starting to show. That's all it is really.

I loved playing him with devourer but since that's gone it's kind of...meh.

Im not sure if hes in a bad spot or if he was free for one of those weeks but the people playing him didnt do bad.

Whether they are were just nocturne mains or not he seemed pretty strong and even made one of my friends bought him cause he looked good

Came across a one-trick Noc a few days ago and was carrying the shit out of my team.

Yeah, it's just one game and one person, but that explains something, right?

I used to be a one trick pony nocturne player that played him mid, top, and jungle, who played him since season 2 (though I haven't ranked up much cause I play mostly normals and play on and off). I've recently quit playing him outright because it's too much of a hassle to deal with a lot of the stuff going on in the game at the moment; what does that tell you?

Noc just blows up ADC from 20 miles away. i would just play him like a assassin

Pretty much the only real way to play him, but in that case he's too gold dependent for the jungle.

He is basically the best champion in the game. No one bans him or picks him either. Not sure what you are on about. Play TLD:item 1412 item 3142 item 3812 item 3077 (upgrade to either) or Play Fervor:item 1419 item 3071 item 3102 item 3742

If you take the time to learn him (REALLY learn him) he is amazing. I'll answer any questions you have.

The thing is ppl spam lucian to win in this season, and it can get...a bit challenging to click on lucian when nocturne turns on his ult ;_;

It's not just you, he feels really bad to play Nocturne right now.

He has no real gap closer except his ultimate, and while his q and w are solid, his passive is outright trash conpared to what other champions get from a passive, and his fear takes too long (a whole 2 seconds) on a short range tether to trigger. Oh he gets speed boosts towards feared targets? Good thing that it's really gimpy and it ends up working out horribly, while also being redundant with his q.

You can look at his winrate all you want. He's picked 3.5% of the time, and despite the majority of his playerbase being experienced players his winrate is barely over 50%
