According to that site it says the gold is still 23% so... not much difference

The number is misleading because silver skews the percent by including inactive players. There's more people in gold than bronze. It's basically meaningless now.

Gold 5 is where everyone stops for the season rewards. I got there 2 months back, chilled but then Realized that my friends got to plat so I did the same. Gold is a bronze dream.

Gold really hasn't been special since S2.

The elo inflation has been really big in S3 and S4. Gold is basically a near majority of the community now considering silver is inflated with inactive players as it's the decay limit.

Pretty sure Gold includes that now with the fact that you don't decay when inactive. So it started to go up near the end of the season with people reaching it and stopping their play. But you're diamond, so what do you care?

Man I remember back in season 1 when bronze was the top 25% of players. Ah, those were the days.
