The 100 Bonus AD requirement for Kai'Sa's Q upgrade is pretty harsh considering AD costs much more.

I don't think the 3 basic ability upgrades should require the exact same amount of their respective requirement to upgrade.

100% AS is extremely cheap, and more accessible with greaves cutting 35% out of that requirement, 100 AP is doable with just 1 fully built item and runes, but then getting the 100 AD requirement is like jumping over Mount Everest, especially for a champion that seems like she's meant to have a mid-game powerspike.

Even if you go full AD items, such as Cleaver + Botrk, that's not enough for the 100 AD requirement. If you go crit, ER/IE gives you a lot of initial AD, but you pretty much have to build a zeal item before or after those items for them to be any good. If you build assassin items, your dps will suffer and you might as well be playing an assassin or a crit ADC that would have even higher burst. This means your Q upgrade pretty much isn't going to happen until lategame. You'll most likely upgrade your E without even trying, before you accomplish a Q upgrade.

AD is extremely expensive when compared to AS/AP, and getting tons of flat AD on an ADC is a lot harder than getting tons of flat AP/AS (especially with rageblade likely being a core item on Kai'Sa). **

Simply lower the AD requirement to something like 80 or even 85 so that it reflects the game's higher price on AD and higher difficulty in stacking AD. **

I think people still mistaken that Kai'Sa is not an exclusive marksman.

You have to understand that’s pretty intentional, at least by what I can see. Yeah, AD is harder to get, but you have essentially made the trade off for higher DPS vs Burst and higher physical vs magic damage. Getting each of the upgrades too easily means she doesn’t have to make any sacrifices to get them.

I am just scared that making her Q clock in very early into the game might make you TOO strong. after all that ability when over 100 AD does a good bit of damage. keep in mind I wasn't able to play her so IDK just how strong it is. altho the whole idea of her is to have different play styles. assassin,AP,AS, or even all 3, and last crit. yea not ALL of them will be viable. most people go for the best builds to win, good on them. but for me I like trying new builds just to have fun.

It really isn't all that strict, so much as 100 AP is far too lenient.

With the right runes, a single item 3072 or even an item 3031 can reach that threshold, and regardless of runes, either one alongside item 3036, which you should be building as an ADC anyway, or item 3026 gets you there.

Once more, it's more so that the AP requirements are just really low, but I don't see her going full mage such for that to be an issue.

Yeah but if you go for Guinsoos you've already got 35 out of 100 and 50 out of 100 for AP, a couple more items and you've got you 100 in late game...

Wow, it's almost like Riot has actually paid attention to which abilities they want to upgrade when?
